This property is a diamond in the rough. Newly renovated rooms. Beautiful views. Clean, quiet. Excellent staff. Have stayed twice and would again. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!

Well once again the rooms were dirty and I brought along cleaning supplies to clean. My daughter’s room had blood stains right through to the sheets below. It appeared they tried to remove the stain and forgot about it. Really gross though, should have changed the top cover and not try to remove the stain. We had two rooms and both were dirty. My daughter’s room was real smelly. I brought quilts to sleep on and cover with. We went to Walmart in Trail and bought for my daughter. Most of the staff were good. There was one talkative guy. The female named Cherri was amazing. Then there was a real grumpy female. I had high hopes they had fixed their cleaning issues but that hadn’t happened, lesson learned. The continental breakfast is okay, you have to continually ask for things to be refilled and they do fill it when asked. Don’t eat the bread though. The talkative guy puts his fingers through his hair and then touches the bread, all the bread, as he is either stocking or taking away. One positive, the beds are the best I have ever slept in. Go with quite low expectations if you’re going to stay here.

This was a roadside hotel I was happy with what I got, a clean room with comfortable beds, I would not hesitate to stay here again should the need arise. Rossland in the summer is not the greatest, restaurants were non existent we ended up eating a pogo and fries at a bar the french fries were exceptional though. The people were friendly just not a lot to due in a ski town in the summer

The property was convenient for our needs as we were there for a family reunion. Customer service in the way of a greeting/welcome could be a little warmer. We had a kitchinette which was convenient and very clean. The bedroom area is very small and I think the beds were doubles. If there had been 4 of us it would have been very cramped. Breakfast was provided but it was minimal at least not what has been provided at other Best Westerns. Overall, our stay was pleasant, quiet and Rossland is beautiful. The facility provided a clean, safe and secure place to stay.

Hotel did not provide basic housekeeping, no replacement of towels, tissue paper, garbage collection, poor breakfast provided, ran out of juice, butter, pastries. Stayed over long week-end, and the facility did not appear to be prepared, although there were a number of families and construction workers as guests.

The staff was not friendly at all. One of the instructions for check in on Expedia is to call ahead and they were annoyed to answer the phone and said to come in at check in time so not clear on why you need to phone to be treated rudely and then come in to check in to be treated rudely as well. The rooms were clean-ish. Meaning walls were not wiped down, showers had hair in them and there were spiders and spider webs in every corner of the room. Rooms are small with not a lot of space around the beds.

This property is older but is good. We stay here every year on our way through the Kootneys and we will continue staying here. There is a nice walking trail to downtown as you are a little bit out of town. It is always quiet and the rooms are normally fairly clean. We had a room that was not quite up to our expectations and the onsite staff took care of it quickly. I would recommend this place for both cost, and the location to walking trails and hiking trails. It is also right across the highway from the museum.
