「Excellent stay at Dievole! Great amenities, clean property, friendly staff and great wine. Food was good but not amazing. There are two paths to get to the property. If you’re coming from Florence or Siena, make sure to come into the property from the highway with only 1km of pleasant unpaved road instead of driving 5km of a crazy unpaved pathway like I did. 」

「 We stayed at Le Lappe Relais on our 6th night in Italy. The drive to this remote oasis was gravel uneven, windy, uphill roads only wide enough for one car surrounded by gnarly trees. However, when you reach Le Lappe Relais, breathtaking. You hear only birds chirping. It is must, if you are ever in this part of Italy. We were the only couple staying that night. We were welcomed with a glass of Presecco and doted on. While dining in the restaurant for dinner, we were seated at a large farm...

「We could not be happier with our stay at Il Verreno. We arrived late on our first night and they were able to hold our table in the restaurant for dinner. My husband had Coeliac disease and not once did we have to tell the staff, they had a note in file and every single one of them remembered for the whole trip. They made changes to the menu for him, ensuring he had gluten free bread and pasta etc. the service was excellent throughout the hotel, the hotel was clean and the rooms are beautiful....

「The property is spectacular. A team of welcoming staff are there to greet you upon arrival and support your every need throughout your stay. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with olive groves, cedars, and gardens. We loved lying in the hammocks and listening to the chicalas. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, our dinner at il rondini was equally delicious and the local musical entertainment was a great touch. We also enjoyed a spa treatment with local, natural products. Wine...

「Great property in the middle of Siena. Room was beautiful, great shower, comfortable bed and we were on the top floor so a beautiful view. Great staff, Sara and Adele were very welcoming and super helpful. No elevators and a steep stairwell (fine for us but just be prepared to climb stairs). Would definitely stay again. 」

「A wonderful overnight stay at this historical and traditional building, close to the heart of Siena. Very quiet, with a wonderful view over the Tuscan countryside from our room...coffee-making facilities and a fridge with cold water (essential in this current heatwave)...a good choice of breakfast options, all served by Valentina, who was the perfect host. She took time to chat with us about the traditions of Siena, and could not have been more helpful...we hope to return one day soon.」
