"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "

"We had a lovely stay at Little Paradise, Greyfield Farm Cottages! The cottage was immaculate, cosy and had lots of amenities to make our stay feel just like being at home. "Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. "It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. The situation of the hotel made it easy to walk to the old castle, and Sherborne itself is picturesque and full of history. A wonderful break for us both, and Bruce the dog."

"The hot tub room was great, very comfortable, modern facilities, the hot tub itself was fun, and we could wander down from the patio to the outdoor pool. The staff were always keen to oblige. Everything table service in the bar, there are a couple of nice lounges and outdoor seating. All staff helpful and very friendly. Food in the restaurant was very good quality. Some of it is grown on site. Breakfast excellent, both continental and hot options. Good walking in the area, including right from the hotel grounds. "
