language difficulty
The owners of the hotel, which was a bed and breakfast in the countryside, were wonderful and courteous people. The only difficulty we had was communicating. I KNOW we had prepaid with Hotels.com, but when it came time to check out, we were charged those same Euros for our night's stay. We expected the charge for the evening's dinner, but even though we gave the owner a copy of our reservation, they still charged us for the room.
