I cannot recommend a better place to stay in all of my travels of the world. Casa Portagioia is run by fantastic people who are willing to help with any request. This is five star treatment at a five star establishment. The grounds are immaculate and gorgeous. The pool is perfect. The accommodations are clean and cleaned often, updated, and spacious. It was our honeymoon and Marcello welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco and a infectious smile. Please stay here and say hello to our new friends. I guarantee you will always remember this slice of heaven.

Toscana Heaven

Superb. Best B&B we’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. Stayed in apartment, beautifully appointed, spacious and very, very clean. Full kitchen facilities, fridge, m/wave etc. The grounds are something to behold. Beautifully maintained gardens, a veritable plethora of floral varieties in a thoughtfully designed layout. Good size pool tastefully positioned so you can lay in sun and marvel in the silence whilst surveilling the surrounding Tuscan hills. The hosts, Marcelo and Terry endeavour to make your stay memorable.

Wonderful Wine Tuscan Getaway!

We stopped here in the middle of our Italy trip (Florence --> Casa Portagioia --> Positano --> Rome) and it was everything we hoped for and more! Beautiful views and ground (think rolling green hills with blooming flowers everywhere!), clean and comfy rooms, and such fabulous, welcoming, and warm hosts! Terry and Marcello did such a great job helping to plan our days while we were there! They set us up with a private driver for a couple vineyard tours and a stop in Pienza for one day, and the other day they reserved us a wine-pairing lunch. They also made our dinner reservations for us! Which we still think the best pasta we had during our entire trip was at Da Muzzicone! So great!! I will remember our trip, and especially our time here, with such wonderful memories!!

This place is fabulous. Everything I thought Tuscany would be. Terry and Marcello are amazing hosts. Breakfast was fresh fruit, baked goods and eggs. The grounds are spectacular. They grow their own olive grove and vineyard. They also accommodated my husband who is Celiac. Wonderful place can’t wait to go back!

Terry and Marcello went above and beyond

As above, Terry and Marcello are amazing human beings. They helped set up car for pick up from train station and going to restaurants. Marcello himself dropped us off at the train station. Terry is a charmer and we we're lucky enough to eat breakfast, lunch and a dinner made by the wonderful Marcello. This place made our visit to Tuscany a fantasy dream come true and we we're only sad we didn't stay longer. Love them forever and will definitely go back not only for the place but the experience with the owners themselves.

Tue absolute perfect way to end a Tuscan holiday!

Our hosts Terry and Marcelo were amazing! Their rooms are impeccably decorated, clean and comfortable. The grounds are stunning. Their knowledge of the area was incredibly helpful. They prepare a lovely breakfast every morning - the perfect way to start the day. Will return again!

A great gem in Tuscany

This B&B is a must. The attention to detail is impressive. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Marcello and Terry are fantastic hosts...charming and witty! You feel at home immediately. The grounds are stunning and the breakfast is top-rated. Our suite was perfectly equipped. Would recommend to all considering a stay. 5 stars +!!!!

third time is a charm!

We are a late 50's (age) couple from Ontario Canada. This was our 3rd visit in the past 3 years! The bucolic charm of enjoying a stay at a European B&B, set in a Tuscan vineyard, is unbeatable. The rooms are each individual masterpieces, carefully decorated with unique style and furniture. Very comfortable. The pool is a veritable oasis of relaxation. Breakfasts were bountiful & with a wide selection of delicious fruits/breads, capuccinos, teas, sure to meet the tastes of even the most seletive of guests.

Heaven in Tuscany

Casa Portagioa is perfect place to stay in Tuscany. A very well run establisment. Rooms are cosy and elegant at same time. Garden is beautiful, roses, lavender, olive groves vineyards and gorgeous pool. This B&B is so relaxing, calm and peaceful. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Marcello and Terry are fantastic hosts. Marcello is excellent chef. Terry is witty, hilarious and with a great sense of humor. This was our first and definitely not last visit to this B&B. Thank you Marcello and Terry for wonderful relaxing week !
