A Charming, "Old School" Stay

We were warmly greeted by the hotel owner, and showed up to our room, so lovely and thoughtfully decorated with vintage touches. The hotel is right on the main street in town, and our room had a gorgeous view of the mountains to the left, and the main street with the ocean in the background to the right. The couple that runs this B&B offers so much kindness and hospitality, I would reccommend staying here.

Our stay was fine. The mattress, bedding and pillows need significant improvement. The rooms are spacious but lack in charm, particularly in comparison to the charm conveyed in the photos online. The plumbing was imperfect. The shower head required holding in place to prevent it from spraying all over the place. Well located and nice staff.

Meravigliosa!

We had a wonderful stay here! Peppe was an excellent host: the breakfast (with local homemade snacks) was great, he helped us with parking, gave us instructions to all of the local beaches (and even gifted us an umbrella for the day), and even gave us great dinner recommendations. The location was perfect for us - a short walk from the major shops, restaurants, and nightlife in the area. A 10 min downhill walk to the water. The room was enormous - so big, that the AC couldn’t cool the entire unit, so it was a bit warm - but that is to be expected in the middle of the Sicilian summer. Check-in and out was super easy - there was even an elevator to get our huge suitcases upstairs. We loved our stay here and hope to return one day with our family

Schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem restaurierten alten Gebäude. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und gross. Auch Zimmer auf der Strassenseite sind ausreichend ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet beinhaltet selbstgebackene Kuchen und wird sehr persönlich angeboten. Es gibt allerdings keine Hotelparkplätze, was manchmal zu Parkplatzsuche führt und keinen Platz in unmittelbarer Nähe garantiert. Alles in allem ist dieses Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Jederzeit wieder.

Lovely, authentic hospitality!

Stayed here one night and reserved last minute. Amazing location, spacious room, clean, comfortable and most of all a really sweet staff that spoke great English and French as well. Especially love homemade jams from the owners wife and figs from his garden at the breakfast! Recommended.

We feel lucky to have stumbled into this hotel. It is secure, quiet, in a great location and parking was not a problem. It is a beautiful building full of old-warm charm. Our rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfasts were elegant including the typical Italian sweets and cold cuts, etc. and its the only place in Italy where we were offered eggs. Jams were home-made and delicious. The owner was always available and helpful with directions, recommendations, etc. He even accompanied me to his bank to help resolve a problem I had buying Euros. I must mention that it is an incredible value for the money. We paid much more for other hotels in Italy that were not nearly as nice. I'm already planning my next trip and this is where I will stay.

A good B&B in Castelamare del Golfo

Situated in a convenient, central location with parking close-by. Good restaurants in the vicinity. Hosts were gracious and helpful. Breakfast was ample and varied. An elevator available.

Knuf verblijf met een zeer centrale ligging

Super goed verblijf gehad bij Casa D'Anna! Elke ochtend een vers en zelf gemaakt ontbijt met heerlijke cappuccino, zeer ruime en schone kamers en hele lieve mensen (man, vrouw met dochter en zoon welke elke dag voor je klaarstaan). Als je de sfeer van het leven in Sicilie wil proeven, is dit een zekere aanrader!

utmärkt läge, stora rum

Vi var off season och troligen ensamma gäster. Trots det fick vi en alldeles utmärkt frukost och ett mycket bra bemötande. Vi fick dessutom ytterligare ett rum, med två sängar utöver det dubbelrum vi beställt! Läget bra med bankomat och apotek utanför dörren. Vi fick goda råd om vad vi borde se och tips på bra restauranger.

Beautiful and welcoming family run guesthouse

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the beautiful Case D'Anna for 2 nights in August. Aside from the accommodation being attentively decorated, the rooms (more like apartments) being extremely spacious and it being right in the centre of castellamare, our hosts were wonderful. We had arrived by train from Palermo and had anticipated the buses into castellamare (4km) would be working however on this particular Sunday they were not. After there were so no taxis in sight, Giusy, the owners daughter came to pick us up, which we were hugely grateful for. The next day we thought we had worked out the bus/train situation and planned to leave to go to trapani early in the morning and catch the bus o the train station. However we were caught out again as the bus takes you to the station 30mins before the train leaves (which we had not allowed time for) and despite having to run the busy breakfast the owner kindly offered to take us to the station ( and offered us some useful advice that hiring a car next time would make life easier!) Our hosts also ave us invaluable advice about restaurants, day trips, food and local festivals. All in all an excellent place to stay which we'd highly recommend. Thank you again for all your help!!!

B&B nel corso principale del paese. eccellente l'ospitalità dei padroni di casa, camera molto rumorosa a causa dei rumori di strada. prezzo eccessivo per un B&B, comunque ci ritornerei. ottima la colazione

nærværende og personlig service

Fantastisk hotel beliggende i den dejlige kystby Castellammare. Ved ankomst fik vi en personlig modtagelse med diverse info. Ved indloggering fik vi et lille kort over byen og fik udpeget de gode vin bar :)Væreslerne er gode store, med vælving i loftet, altaner og dejlige klimaanlæg. Der er kræset for detaljerne på hotellet og til prisen kan man slet ikke klage, selv værelserne er navngivet! Til sidst vil jeg nævne morgenmadsbuffet hvilket var et væld af frisk frugt, siciliansk kage dessert, brød, yoghurt mm.

OTTIMO B&B

Siamo stati 2 settimane ad agosto 2012, appena arrivati in aereoporto siamo stati accolti dal Sig. Piero, che si e' prodigato di fornirci tutte le informazioni che ci potevano essere utili riguardanti alle localita' da visitare in zona e non solo. Le camere sono spaziose,pulite e arredate con cura in stile tipicamente siciliano.La colazione e' abbondante con ampia scelta,il B&B si trova in un punto strategico in centro al paese.Il soggiorno e' stato indimenticabile e ci siamo trovati VERAMENTE BENE, sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Helt greit...

Synes oppholdet var helt greit. Vertskapet var hyggelige og behjelpelige, rommene romslige. Minus for aircondition som ikke fungerte optimalt, noe som gikk ut over nattesøvnen. Var også mye støy fra trafikken rett utenfor. Også minus for frokosten som var lite innbydende. Osten var varm og halvsmeltet, frukten døende og smøret rennende. Pluss for deilig kaffe og ferske bakervarer! Kjøleskapet på rommet kunne ikke fylles med egen mat og drikke - utrolig dårlig med tanke på at vannet i springen ikke kan drikkes. Man kunne kjøpe drikke og snacks som var i kjøleskapet, dette var relativt dyrt!

Disponibilità e cortesia

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte. La struttura è ben tenuta, le camere sono molto spaziose, ben condizionate e dotate di frigo-bar. La famiglia che la gestisce è molto accogliente e disponibile alle esigenze del cliente. La colazione è abbondante con torte della signora Mirella e la presentazione della tavola è curata nei dettagli. La consigliamo sia a coppie che a famiglie visto che le camere permettono una comoda sistemazione. Da Catellammare partono imbarcazioni per visitare la riserva dello Zingaro. Informatevi prima sulle condizioni del mare, altrimenti si rischia di perdere la sosta più agognata!

Sono soddisfatto nelle linee generali. La qualità del servizio, il confort e la pulizia delle camere sono molto soddisfacenti. La cortesia, forse è quella la migliore qualità riscontrata. Qualche difficoltà nel trovare posteggio nei pressi dell'hotel.

Palatial Suite!

A large, comfortable and clean suite with typically Sicilian furniture - a grand bed. Our host was welcoming and knowledgeable. The breakfast was nicely presented with a good choice. The property is centrally located, with a lift and felt secure. Free parking is fairly close by, but you have to pay if you park outside. The only downsides were having to phone when we arrived (but a neighbour did this for us!) and that the street was fairly noisy.
