The downside to the hotel was the indoor pool was very small and had a cover over it so couldnt be used and the bar consisted of a couple of bottles of spirits. "Breakfast was outstanding, plenty of fresh fruit, choice of muesli, granola etc home made, fresh rolls and even different speciality Portuguese cakes and pastries to sample each day. I didn’t try the cooked breakfast, but seemed to be very popular Lots of activities both in hotel itself and to book in the surrounding area. My only slight criticism is that the roof top pool area did not seem to have many sun beds, also the steps to get in/out of pool were unstable. All staff were helpful and friendly, and smartly dressed. Would certainly book again should we want to return to this part of Portugal"
