Hotel stay

Stayed here prior to our tour commencing. Saturday night seemed very busy on the street outside until the early hours of the morning but no issues the following night. Tram is located right outside the door so easy access. Big breakfast of bread served. Room was big and comfortable bed with good air conditioning.

Room was very big and so was the shower. An easy walk to the main sites but is near a tramline. Only 2 issues. One was the WiFi, it was slow and just bad, kept connecting and disconnecting over and over especially in the evening. The other was the automatic lightening around my floor would go off too quicky. I know it's for saving energy but should stay on for more than 3 seconds. Breakfast was fine and staff were very nice.

Hotel would not call us a taxi (but pointed out where to pick one up). Area around the hotel seemed dodgy, but the room was clean and breakfast was alright. Fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent.

Good hotel but no hot water

The hotel is clean and has big rooms if you choose the comfort room. However we had issues with hot water. We were booked for 2 nts and had to change the rooms twice due to no hot water. But even after changing the rooms the issue was nit resolved it was very disappointing. If hot water is not an issue for you then this is a good hotel. I would give it a 2.5 star because of the water issue.

I won't stay at this hotel again

I don't know how they classify these hotels : To hang your coat or others heavy clothes you need to go on top of a chair to reach the hangers. There is no space to store your clothes ,I kept my clothes locked up in my suitcase for two weeks. The alarm inside the room was broken and part of it was in the draw. The breakfast is full of bread and croissant and no juices. the window is not properly insulated.you cannot sleep calmly as the tramway is frequent and noisy . The hotel looks fantastic from outside but...... Please not that my points above could help improve the way the rooms are furnished.

The property was filthy, garbage on the street outside , dirty bathrooms and filthy walls in the bedroom. the glasses at breakfast were not clean as well. overall the staff was not helpful and our rooms were not cleaned at all on the days we were at the hotel. we asked for new clean towels and were told we could not get any. when i asked the manager he apologized for the staff and cleaning. and offered us a free nights stay and said he would remedy the situation. however after an additional night with no resolution - we left the hotel - would suggest you book some where else as this hotel is not up to the standard orbitz has. it's not even close to a 4 start rating - more like a 1 or 2 star..
