It was a beautiful property. Very clean and in a beautiful setting 😍 pool was very nice too. Kitchen had everything you need. Nice big balconies too.

The golf resort is very pretty and well maintained, but our 2 BR apartment isn’t. The beds in both bedrooms are horrible, like hospital pull out beds with no support so my back along my kids backs started hurting after first night. The set up of the town houses aren’t well thought of as our master BR is right next to the next apartment’s balcony so we can hear the neighbors conversation and smell their smoke all night long unless we close the windows (bear in mind there’s no AC in the unit). The apartment is very spacious with plenty towels but updated kitchen but the rest of the apartment is very outdated. Golf courses are very well maintained, as well as the club house and restaurant. Good security, especially at night. Just wish we didn’t have a party gang next to us and better beds, it would have been a great stay!

The 4pm check in is to late. We arrived at 1pm due to our fight time and was told the room was ready but if we wanted it we would have to pay extra. I felt this was poor customer service. But, overall the stay was good, the apartment was very clean and well appointed, the beds were comfortable.

The apartment had every convenience but a very dirty ash tray left on the terrace table, glass table dusty and sun beds just thrown in untidily let the apartment down rather. Other wise a mini home from home and appreciated all the little extras. The service in the club house was excellent and food acceptable.

Nice Villas. Confusing to get around as we were placed in a villa about 10 minutes drive from reception. We weren't driving so we had to rely on the free shuffle which sometimes had a one hour wait. Staff were nice and helpful. Resort is 4star. Nice ammenities. House keeping didn't come clean during our stay. When we came in, there was a load of whites in the washing machine which was left for us to air out l guess. Check in on hotels.com says 3pm - upon arrival we were told it was actually 4. And at 4 we were told the room wasn't ready so we had to wait another 30 minutes.

Warning-No air conditioning

We booked a four bedroomed villa with pool no 216 for 3 nights predominately to play golf on the advertised nearby courses. As would be expected the weather was very hot but the villa did not have any air conditioning. This was not advertised before hand and if it were we would of course not booked as it was impossible to sleep. We were thankful that we did not bring small children as the situation would have been intolerable. The hotel staffs answer to our query was the same for every complaint from every villa. The villas are privately owned and there is nothing they can do. This is a major flaw in the system as it absolves them of any responsibility and if this is the case you would be better served booking direct with owners and saving some money in the process. It is pot luck therefore what villa your allocated and what facilities that individual villa has. Ours had no air conditioning.no curtains in the bedrooms to keep out the morning sun and a tiny 14 inch TV only in the entire villa. To make matters worse I was phoned at midnight by the reception to say that I hadn't paid for the villa and they would take it from my card. When I informed them that expedia had already taken the money I was told I was wrong and they would have take it. They phoned back half an hour later to say it had after all been paid already. No apology. Poor service.

Schönes Hotel - auch für Nicht-Golfer

12 Tage haben wir in diesem wirklich schönen Hotel verbracht. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, generell sind die Angestellten des Hotels äußerst zuvorkommend. Die Anlage ist sehr weitläufig und großzügig gestaltet, so dass die Appartements und Häuser sehr viel Freiraum bieten. Jedes Haus/ jeder Appartementblock ist mit eigenem Pool ausgestattet, es besteht mehr als genug Platz dort. Die Appartements sind wunderbar ausgestattet. Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Kaffeemaschine vorhanden. Die Alarmanlage sorgt für die nötige Sicherheit. Mietwagen ist aufgrund der Großzügigkeit der Anlage jedoch erforderlich. Mit dem Auto etwa 10 Min. in das Zentrum von Carvoeiro, 10 Min. bis zum Strand, 5 Minuten bis zum Supermarkt (Jumbo).

Ibamos para varios días y sólo nos quedamos una noche. El apartamento estaba viejo y sucio, además de encontrarnos enseres personales. El personal que nos atendió no hablaba casi nada de español. El recinto está bien pero nuestro apartamento dejaba mucho que desear. No tenía aire acondicionado y se veía suciedad por todos los rincones, sobretodo en el baño. El WC parecía manchado de sangre.

Good golfing resort but not for kids

This is a golf resort of villas around a golf course. There is no central hotel with facilities to meet at as suggested by the title of the resort. There is a golf club house with a decent restaurant and small pool but little seating area. There isn't a main place where children on the resort can meet other children. The accommodation staff changed so some didn't even know the area to recommend where the closest shop was whereas others were very helpful. The villa was large but without air conditioning. It was serviced everyday but the cleaner moaned about having no time and left me to unload and hang up any towels she washed. Overall it's a good resort for families who want to have a holiday without meeting others or for golfers without children.

Tolles townhouse auf dem golf court

Wir hatten ein appartment gebucht, wurden jedoch auf ein townhouse upgegradet - alles super! Was uns gar nicht gefallen hat, war allerdings der autovermieter in unserem package: goldcar. Beim eintreffen mussten wir erstmal 90€ für die tankfüllung ( opel corsa! Bei eigenbetankung max. 70€!!) bezahlen, dann wurde uns eine extraversicherung für 110€ dringendst angeraten, so dringend dass wir sonst konsequenzen fürchteten, weiterhin konnte nur über kreditkarte nur vom fahrer abgerechnet werden ( wir sind verheiratet!) sodass wir für nochmal 35 € einen zweiten fahrer anmelden mussten! Dann musste noch ebenfalls für geld das elektronische device zur abrechnung der autobahngebühr freigeschaltet werden - 5 min in portugal fühlten wir uns für über 230€ maximal abgezockt!!
