A home away from home. Lisa our host was lovely and gave us lots of good tips. The house itself is on a hill over looking the sea and a delightful place to spend a few days.

Absolutely brilliant stay

Lisa and Graham were outstanding hosts. Morven House is a hidden gem, which is hard as its one of the most prominent and historical buildings in Carnoustie. A must stay if you're in the area.

We really enjoyed the time with you and your husband. The property was amazing and the view over the golf course was great for my golfer friend, Bill. Loved the service and the breakfast. Will certainly recommend your place.

The hostess is a gem! The house is quaint and peaceful. Fabulous breakfast and I love the living room on the bottom floor. Water pressure could be better, but that may just be an issue with the area so I wouldn't fault the propriator for that. The twin mattress in the room was meant for a small child. It was not comfortable for a third adult, but the main mattress was great. Still five stars because the owner is so accommodating and the place is very nice.

Morven House was such a beautiful and quiet stop for us on our travel through Scotland. We had a room with a view of the River and the Carnoustie Golf Course. The property was easy to find and lots of free parking. Lisa, the Owner, greeted us and showed us all around. She made reservations for us at the Golf Club and it was excellent. Breakfast - we made our selection the night before and arrived at the time we requested to a table set with our coffee and fruit waiting. The breakfast was just as ordered and delicious. The bed was so comfortable and the room spacious. I loved the reading room on the main floor. Nice quiet place to relax. Would highly recommend Morven House - you won’t be disappointed.
