「Great value overnight trip」

「It seems this hotel hasn't been updated since the 1960s. The carpets were worn and discolored; frankly, we were scared of catching a skin disease if we walked barefoot. With no disposable slippers provided, we wore socks the entire time. A "we don't care" response twice to my message the day before check-in should have been my first clue. 「Delightful shepherd’s hut set in the mid-Wales countryside. Well equipped and maintained and very comfortable, it was just right for our long weekend visiting friends in the area. The bed was comfortable and the small kitchen and shower room met our needs. We benefitted from excellent weather so were able to take full advantage of the terrace which overlooked a field of buttercups and the nearby hills.」
