The property was perfectly located for my time in Newport . The restaurant was busy and obviously popular but I had no problems getting a table as a resident . The food was very good as was the service . My only issue was the noise from people moving in the room above my room . Common problem with older properties.

A great halfway stop for us on thexway to north Wales. Staff were wonderful, breakfast was delicious and in house dining options with ample choice

Overnight stop
Stayed here as an overnight to break up a long journey. Really lovely hotel with a restaurant and bar also serving food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely, we ate in the bar lounge, and breakfast was cooked fresh and very nice (no snotty or overcooked eggs!). Lovely location just a few minutes from the M4 Magor services, yet very peaceful. Room had lots of space and everything we needed. Our room was actually an accessibility room and had a wet room bathroom. Overall this was a great find and we will stay here instead of the motorway services hotel from now on, the price was about the same as breakfast is included at this hotel.

We was welcomed by lovely receptionist. our room was clean & warm. We didnt have dinner there but had breakfast. There was a great choice of cereal, jams etc & a order form to pick what you'd like for the full English. The food was hot & fresh and tye waitress was very helpful & attentive.....will definitely stay again

The old barn was very comfortable and clean but a few things needed attention such as the bathroom tiles were cracked and the bottom of the door was flacking

Nice place but thin walled rooms.
Overnight stay passing through. Facilities good. Stayed in a room on the ground floor and had a disturbed night sleep due to noise from room above caused by heavy footsteps and movement. Breakfast good and staff pleasant.

This was a very quaint and beautiful Inn, very nice staff, very easy reception and registration after having pre-booked a room. The Full Welsh Breakfast was super, and the waitress very attentive and friendly. Everything was very satisfactory, and we'd stay there again!

This is the most beautiful property! I can see why it’s popular for weddings. The checkin was super quick and the lady was so friendly. The room was great and so quiet! The breakfast was great and all staff were so friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
