Pas a la hauteur des autres avis

Notre petite chambre au dernier etage de la maison etait vraiment decevante car petite, sombre et tres sommairement meublee (une chaise branlante et un lit pousse contre le mur). Il y avait egalemement une petite salle de bains avec cabine de douche basique. A l'arrivee la proprietaire nous a immediatement dit que la chambre et salle de bains ne seraient pas nettoyees pendant notre sejour et que si nous voulions des serviettes propres, il fallait les lui demander. J'aurais prefere savoir ca la reservation et ca a ete une mauvaise surprise de plus. Je poste des photos et vous laisse juger. Village bien situe a cote de Caracassonne et petit dejeuner copieux

Calm place away from the crowds

We stayed in a spacious suite for 2 adults & 2 children. Breakfast was lovely and generous, inside or in the garden, depending on the weather. We enjoyed the calm (and clean swimming pool) away from the crowds of Carcassonne, yet just 7min from it by car. The hotel is run by a couple and they are extremely busy, not to say stretched. There was no room service (making beds etc) due to Covid but it is nice and clean. Would be a great place for an outside party!

Great place to stay when visiting Carcassonne

Very welcoming with comfortable rooms and good breakfast. No evening meal but there is an excellent restaurant in the same building. Easy to get into Carcassonne and gives you a very tranquil place to stay. We were here when devastating floods hit the area and the village of Palaga. We had no problems thanks to the attentive service we had from the owners who did everything possible to make our stay perfect.

Great hotel for peace and quiet near Carcassonne

Loved our 5 night stay at this hotel. Very comfortable and quiet but still only a short drive from Carcassonne. The manager is very helpful with suggestions for sights. Adjacent restaurant is very good too. Highly recommend!!!

Nous avons juste fait un arrêt d'une nuit dans cet hôtel et nous avons été charmés par ce lieu très agréable, calme... Un accueil parfait , il règne dans cet hôtel une belle ambiance. La chambre spacieuse très propre. le restaurant aussi très bonne table et bel accueil également. Enfin bref une belle découverte et le plaisir d'y revenir.

Lovely restored chateau in park outside Carcassonn

This was a lovely place to stay a few minutes outside of Carcassonne in a beautiful park. The chateau has been beautifully and comfortably restored. The owner is perhaps a bit too protective — no coffee in the rooms! But the breakfast buffet is generous and delicious, with many homemade items.
