It was a great location. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable… The personal buffet breakfast was copious and delicious. We loved the retro deco and art. It was a great stay.

Fantastic location. Excellent room size and service. Delicious continental breakfast. If you want to visit Carcassonne and the surrounding areas, Bloc G is the ideal location. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is ideally situated to visit both the new city centre and the Medieval Cite, with lots of things to do an places to eat within walking distance. The apartment that we stayed in was clean and spacious and perfect for a two day visit. Sophie was very kind and helpful. Would stay there again if we were visiting Carcasonne.

Ideal location for old carcassonne.

Arrived after 10pm but thankfully Sophie had waited for us and let us in. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. This was conveniently situated 10 mins from the medieval city which is why we visited Carcassonne.

The room was large, the bed was good and breakfast fantastic. The owner (?) was very friendly and helpful and the location was in walking-distance from restaurants and bars. Also the old citadel was walking distance.

Great place to stay, next to end of the old bridge. Comfortable clean room, mine had plenty of space. Tasty breakfast. What more could you want.

Convenient stay for visiting the walled city

The place is very convenient for getting to the walled city - is just a short walk uphill. The breakfast was very nice. Note that this is a converted industrial property, so it looks and feels like it. Also, they don't offer separate beds as an option.

We love getting to know the people when we visit, so B&Bs are a favorite way to meet new friends and get unbiased advice on good food, attractions and insider know-how. Sophie at BlocG is a just such an incredible find. BlocG is very convenient to Carcassone Cite and great restaurants in the area. If you are a runner there is a local path the follows the canal to the Aude River that is long enough for most runs or bikes. The rooms are understated and modern. We loved the shower and opening the windows at night to enjoy the fresh air. Sophie also spreads a delicious breakfast. She is charming, friendly and glad to offer suggestions for restaurants and activities. When we return to Carcassone we will definitely return to BlocG

Our stay encompassed a continental breakfast, which was basic but perfectly met our needs. The staff were very polite, approachable and helpful and spoke great English. The location of Bloc G is great for exploring the city and there are plenty of dinner options around the vicinity. The room itself was huge and met all requirements, such as bed, hairdryer, soap, kettle, tea, water, TV etc; It would have been great to have a small table and sitting area somewhere in the room. The bathroom shower was not closed off and the design allowed the water to soak pretty much the entire bathroom area when using it, which meant that we needed to use towels to dry items/avoid water from running into the room. The room also smelled of damp because of this issue. As there is a restaurant on the ground floor, you could hear the activities when they opened for preparation in the morning and in the evening until they closed. Overall a good experience if you are looking for a 1 or 2 night stay in a convenient location to explore the city.

Génial !!

Nous avons passé 4 nuit au bloc G, à l'appartement fin juillet. très spacieux, lits confortables. Belle vue sur la cité. Le petit déjeuné est très bon avec du choix pour tous les gouts. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, professionnels et attentionnées. Idéalement situé à 10 min de la cité de Carcassonne à pieds, c'est un point de chute idéal pour visiter Carcassonne et la région. Parkings gratuits: 1 devant le bloc G et u1 autre à même pas 1 min. Excellent séjour !! Nous y reviendrons volontiers pour un prochain séjour.
