Absolutely great service and polite staff. Breakfast had lots of options, and they serve delicious pastries. The only problem is the town. Doesn't offer much, so you better rent a car to move to other areas.

Overall good place to stay, good breakfast, cleanliness and staff. Con: The tap water is not potable and they don’t provide complimentary bottles in the room - all hotels I’ve stayed at provide basic water when tap water is not drinkable. We had to keep running to the grocery store nearby to buy bottles as hotel bottles were way too expensive. Pros: Fully equipped gym, and good spa and wellness services

Lu Hotel Carbonia presents a strategic location, situated conveniently near Masua and en route to Porto Pino, allowing guests to explore Sant'Antioco with ease (by car). However, it's worth noting that the hotel's inviting atmosphere contrasts with a less appealing neighborhood. While the pool area occasionally experiences congestion, the culinary experience is a highlight, despite occasional delays in replenishing supplies. The rooms offer modern bathroom amenities and responsive service, contributing to overall comfort.

Our flight was cancelled from London Gatwick, not our fault. So we couldn't get into Italy because The Air Traffic Contol Tower had been infected. So we claimed a refund from the hotel as we couldn't get there and we were not offered any other flight's or solutions, and the hotel refused to refund us and there was nothing we could do about it. Under the Atol protection we were covered but still they refused to refund us. Very poor!
