An excellent hotel!

This hotel is absolutely perfect for a trip to Capri. Excellent location, about a 5 minute or less walk to the main area of shops and restaurants. The pool area is beautiful and there are plenty of beds, chairs and umbrellas. You also get fresh towels to use at the pool at reception each day. The rooms were exceptional, free water in the minibar, clean towels daily and a turn down service at nightime before coming home. Breakfast was lovely each morning, nice patio area outside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The manager was helpful to answer any queries and any staff met during the day always said hello. The best way to get there from the port is to use the baggage transport service, €12 one way and your bag goes straight to the hotel. You can easily then get the funiculare up to the Piazza and walk. A taxi cost €25 and took a while to get one. Cars can only go to the edge of the main centre and then you need to walk anyway. Would absolutely recommended Hotel Canasta to anyone visiting Capri.

Charmerende hotel med fantastisk service

Jeg havde en fantastisk overnatning på Hotel Canasta. Jeg blev taget rigtig godt imod, selvom jeg kom for tidligt til check-in. Blev anbefalet aktiviteter jeg kunne lave på øen i mellemtiden. Om aftenen efter jeg havde været ude og spise, havde personalet gjort mit værelse klar til natten. Jeg følte mig tryg og som en værdsat gæst. Jeg kommer til sikkert tilbage!

We loved Hotel Canasta

We loved our stay at Hotel Canasta. It was very conveniently located in Capri, right in the center of the shopping district, but far enough away from the venicular so as not to be too noisy. Customer service was top notch as they coordinated every part of our stay, including the porter service for our luggage to/from our ferry, going so far as to even make sure our luggage was placed on our departing ferry. The grounds were very nice and offered a lovely pool to relax by after a day of sightseeing (although the water was a bit cold in May). The real gem, however, is their breakfast. Francesca is their secret weapon surprising us with fresh, delectable treats every morning. Her tiramisu is the best in Italy and her coffee cakes are indescribable. We wanted to adopt her. They also offered a wide variety of other breakfast options that satisfied every pallet. When in Capri, definitely look into staying at Hotel Canasta. You will enjoy it.

Laadukas majoitus hyvällä sijainnilla

Tasokas ja miellyttävä hotelli erittäin hyvällä sijainnilla. Huone oli siisti ja viihtyisä, tosin parveke oli hieman nuhjuinen muovituoleineen. Aamupala oli erittäin hyvä. Asiakaspalvelu oli erinomaista. Kaikki sujui hyvin ja asiallisesti. Uima-allasalue oli tilava ja sieltä oli upeat näkymät, mutta altaan vesi oli todella kylmää. Kaiken kaikkiaan erittäin positiivinen kokemus!

Clean and Adorable!

Very pretty place, perfect little breakfast, and nice pool. Good location. The hotel smells SO CLEAN ALL THE TIME. Not a fan of them collecting and holding your room key as you come and go, but oh well. We requested two beds and it was not prepared like that, but they fixed it right away. Along with the AC, it was not working upon arrival, but very quick fix. Worth the money, would stay again.

Magnifique

Hôtel très joli et chambre très propre. L’accès à la piscine est un vrai plus et la vue de l’hôtel est grandiose. Le personnel est également très aimable. Je recommande totalement si vous êtes en couple, c’est un endroit charmant où passer ses vacances !

Excellent séjour

Hôtel très agréable. Arrrivés en avance, nous avons ete accueillis avec un café et avons ou laisser nos valises le temps que le chambre soit prête. L'hotel est extrêmement bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre ville de Capri (accessible en funiculaire depuis le port) et des jardins d'Auguste. Notre chambre etait agréable, au niveau d'un hotel 3*. Le petit déjeuner en terrasse est excellent. La piscine avec vue mer est un bonheur. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, pour un prix correct (qui reste élevé, comme tout à Capri). Nous reviendrions dans cet hotel sans hésitation. Mention spéciale pour le restaurant attenant à l'hotel (La Margherita) qui est excellent. Pensez à reserver. Les tarifs sont elevés, mais la nourriture ainsi que le service en sont à la hauteur. Séjour de 1 nuit en juillet 2021 pour 180€.

Nice pool. Wi-fi did not work in our room entire time. Extremely small room. Good breakfast. Nice front desk people, helpful but not helpful at all with making reservations/arrangements. Great location if you want to be the small fish in the big pond neighborhood (upscale Tragara).
