Waren schon das dritte mal in diesem Hotel, leider hat das Frühstück aufdrehen Terrasse nicht ganz so schön wie wir uns dass vorgestellt haben. Das Frühstück war früher ein Traum, heuer war es normaler Italienischer Standart. Außerdem war das Essen immer aus und wurde nur auf Anforderung nachgefüllt. Tische wurden auch nicht nachgedeckt. Die Lage ist Top und der langsame Lift zum fast menschenleeren privaten Strand sind noch immer das Beste. Schade um das Hotel

Grandiose Aussicht
Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Man hat eine wunderbare Aussicht auf Porta Azzurro. Der Strand ist sehr Sauber und mit der Standseilbahn einfach zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch immer noch in gutem Zustand.

It’s an older hotel, needs renovation. My kids A/c didn’t work, our tv had no signal. They tried to overcharge me at checkout. It’s in a nice area with a good place to swim and relax by the water.

Het privé strand was geweldig. Jammer dat de bar daar maar tot 18uur open was. Daardoor is er na 18u geen eet en drink gelegenheid, terwijl hier wel de faciliteiten voor aanwezig zijn. Uitzicht vanaf onze kamer was adembenemend, we keken uit op zee en de haven. Zeer groot 2 persoonsbed, maar wel vrij hard. Geen optie tot thee/ koffie op de kamer.

Nice hotel with elevator access to a private beach. They have a restaurant at the beach for lunch. Food in the dining room and beach was excellent. The beds and pillows are the hardest, most uncomfortable that I have ever had in a hotel.

Schöne Aussicht, ruhig. Hotel eigener Strand mit Aufzug. Allerdings ohne Auto nicht zu empfehlen zu Fuß ist alles sehr weit weg. Schöner öffentlicher Strand in der Nähe. Tolle Terrasse.

Sehr freundliches Personal (besonders Juan/, sehr sauber! Privatstrand war etwas enttäuschend, wenn man die anderen unglaublichen Buchten auf Elba kennt. Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Grand Hotel Elba International ist wunderschön an der Bucht von Porto Azzurro gelegen und bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Marina von Porto Azzurro sowie aufs Meer. Die Grünanlagen im Außenbereich sowie auch der Poolbereich sind sehr schön gepflegt und vermitteln tolles Urlaubsflair. Am Privatstrand den man über einen Schrägaufzug erreicht, gibt es die Möglichkeit auf einem kleinen Sandstrand oder auf Plattformen aus Holzplanken kostenfrei Liegen mit Sonnenschirme zu nutzen. Unser Zimmer (Junior Suite) war sehr geräumig, klimatisiert und in gutem Zustand. Es war sehr sauber. Deutsche TV-Sender empfängt man leider nicht. Das Frühstück hat uns nicht so gut gefallen, es ist zwar umfangreich jedoch gibt es das größte Angebot bei süßen Teilchen und Kuchen. Gerade bei Wurst und Käse gibt es nur eine sehr eingeschränkte, nicht wechselnde Auswahl. Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal in diesem Hotel und würden es beim nächsten Elba Urlaub wieder buchen, nicht zuletzt wegen der günstigen Lage.

Prima hotel, geweldig genoten.
Een al wat ouder gebouw met wat oudere gedateerde (bad) kamers. Helemaal geen slechte kamers verder. Hotel met privé strand, kabellift naar strand toe. Zwembad aanwezig niet in geweest. Strand met stijger om op te liggen op stoelen, barretje en restaurantje aan het strand. Ontbijt gewoon goed, veel keuze. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Personeel heel vriendelijk, meewerkend, flexibel. We zijn goed behandeld. Kregen een upgrade van kamer omdat de kamer niet beschikbaar was.

Mixed Feelings
This hotel rates itself as 4 stars, but is really only 3 star level, with some added features. The positives are the friendly staff, great view from our window across the bay to Port Azzurro and the nice private beach area below the hotel accessed by the hotel lift. There are areas of wooden decking and sand, a bar and basic restaurant, which we did not eat in. The 2 hotel pools looked fine. The downsides include the shabby and weather worn exterior of the hotel, although the rooms and interior public areas have been upgraded somewhat. But the big downside, was the poor value for the facilities and lack of ambience for the money paid for the room. I imagine the cost of the upkeep of the 2 pools, the lift to the private beach and maintenance generally, are high. Another downside is no outside restaurants are accessible by foot from the hotel. We drove to Porto Azzurro, but that takes 15 minutes, and then is a hassle to find a carpark. The second night we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which we found a good experience, with tasty food and efficient friendly service at reasonable prices. However, overall we felt that the hotel was not good value for money.

Schönes Hotel mit Traumstrand
Cooles Hotel , Top Lage für einen Strandurlaub. Mit dem Hotel eigenen Lift gehts zum Privatstrand, wo kein Liegen suchen nötig ist. Frühstück ist ein Traum, süss oder fleischig, Obst oder Cornflaks , alles da. Zimmer mit Klima , Kühlschrank und Safe. Garten und Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Waren schon 2 mal da und kommen sicher wieder.

Das Hotel ist in einem sauberen Zustand, leider schon etwas veraltet aber mit einer tollen Lage, sehr schöner Pool Anlage, klasse Dachterasse und schönem Strand. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit kleinem Hund gebucht, Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, leider nicht mit viel Abwechslung.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sie sprechen auch Deutsch. Das Zimmer war immer sehr sauber. Der Service beim Abendessen war anfangs unkoordiniert; z.T. lange Wartezeiten auf Bedienung. Wurde aber von Tag zu Tag besser. Das Frühstück war etwas eintönig. Außenbereich inkl. Pool war tadellos. 4 Sterne sind mir für dieses Hotel etwas zu hoch gegriffen.

Lage ist top.
Die Lage ist super. Waren schon einmal dort. Die Badebucht, der Pool alles sehr gut. Nur leider wird das Hotel zunehmend von Bussen angefahren, was eindeutig zu Lasten der Qualität geht. Teilweise 2 Reisebusse vor dem Hotel. Geht gar nicht. Schade, hat dadurch an Charme verloren. Renovierung stünde auch mal wieder an.

Spectacular views.
Our superior room was large and comfortable with spectacular views. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Over all the decor is rather dated and carpets are stained in public areas which gives an undeserved bad impression. The restaurant with great views if you are lucky serves a variety of good food with excellent service. The breakfast is particularly good except for terrible coffee and dreadful fruit juice. I couldn’t drink either which I found disappointing. The pools are large and clean but too salty and caused eye discomfort. Reception staff are helpful and friendly. The car park is a long steep walk away from the reception. The private beach which is reached via lift was clean. There is a bar and an over priced restaurant.

Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen.
Ist schon etwas abgewohnt und die Betten sehr hart. Das essen hat uns nicht überzeugt. was sehr schön ist, der eigene Strand den man mit einem Lift erreicht. Die Poolanlage ist auch in Ordnung. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich.

Great location able to pay for boat to p. Azzurro
Great to have pontoon access to sea, not crowded and good pools. Provided gluten free breakfast on request. Better if provided fresh fruit juice. Bar meals / drinks expensive We did not have balcony so no outdoor space or view from room but did provide adjoining room for our daughter. Stayed 5 nights- good amount of time. Able to bring dogs / cats at additional cost
