「The villa has everything needed, super clean, well mantained and in a quiet area. We loved. All staff at the property were very kind and helpful. What to say about the villa's view? Just amazing, sand & sea just a few steps. Internet wifi stopped to work, but this wasn't a issue for us, as the plan was to rest and disconnect from the world. 」

Older hotel with flaws as far as condition but staff makes up for that 10 times over. Personal service and food and drink very good and priced well. Quiet area with pool and hilltop view of Pacific. If you want an updated hotel stay in Panama City. If not go to Hotel Eclipse and get one on one service and comfort at a reasonable price and deal with a superbe staff!」

The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. 「The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part is being on Lake Gatun. One morning we used a kayak to paddle a short way into the lake. It is really beautiful and relaxing. We like bird watching, and this is a great spot. The food and drinks were good and fairly priced. The only caution is that this property is on several levels, so there are quite a few stairs to get around. But this resort is so special, the steps were worth it.」
