Absolutely Fabulous!

18 years of visiting SA and still stumble on a hidden Gem like this. Amazing room , stunning Breakfast and comfy sunbeds and Pool. All set in a stunning building in gorgeous grounds. The hosts are also fabulous and madevus so welcome.

I cannot Rave enough about this GORGEOUS Manor , This is a place people dream of living , a place Brides would remember forever , It is run perfectly and being OCD is absolutely SPOTLESS , The Staff are a pleasure to work with , nothing is too much, Leon and Luke you do more and above to keep Vredenburg Manor House the way it is, I could not find a fault , both your perfections show in your pride of this property , parting is not easy , Thank you and we will be back sooner than later Sherryl & Bob USA

Great location, service and facilities. The house was well maintained and clean. Great COVID practice. I will definitely stay here again. Leon and Luke were extremely helpful and friendly. I was disappointed to have left after just one night.

This is a beautiful property in a great location. Our accommodation (Cottage 6) was very spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The Manor House itself is a real gem - full of interesting art, literature and furnishings. Leon and Luke are great hosts. They were always on hand to chat over our plans and offer any assistance we needed. The overall experience felt more like sharing their home than staying in a hotel. So if you want something that is high quality yet really homely, just book it!

We’ve stayed at Vredenburg before and the reception we’ve received has always been brilliant. The room is in great condition and the bed is extremely comfortable. It’s a beautiful old house with all of the creature comforts of home. Our only criticism is that the breakfast was not of the quality we would expect from this type of 4 star establishment

Tolle Mansion, hier lebt man Geschichte! Die Gastgeber sind zuvorkommend und sehr nett. Wir hatten ein Cottage mit kleinem Garten, da würde man es gut zwei Wochen aushalten. Wir haben sogar zu Gunsten einer weiteren Nacht ein schon bezahltes Hotel sausen lassen:)

Beautiful location, tranquillity and friendly

My mum and I have just returned from a stay at Vrendenburg Manor House, the location is beautiful and very peaceful. Luke and Leon make you very welcome and will do everything to make your stay perfect. The breakfast on the veranda in the sun was just a great start to the day with a choice of fruits, cereal, yogurt, breads, cheeses and meat along with a full cooked menu. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The house itself is well decorated and comfortable. Paintings, books and pieces of art make for a lovely feel to the manor house along with the piano. The staff are all very friendly and make sure everyday that your stay is going well. The gardens and pool are also well kept even at this time of drought. I would definitely stay here again I loved the relaxing peaceful surroundings. Thank you Luke and Leon for a lovely stay. You do need a car to get around but most things are fairly close and easy to get to with GPS.

The best place to be - Ein wundervoller Ort

This place is perfect to make daytrips to the Cape, Boulders Beach (Penguins), Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and make the Gorden’s & Clarence Drive to Betty’s Bay (Penguins) and Hermanus (Whale). Beds, breakfast, winebar are excellent, beautiful garden & pool, perfect for relaxing. Super lovely, caring hosts who have given us many recommendations. Thank you to Leon & Luke. We hope to come back soon. Das ehrwürdige Herrenhaus ist der perfekte Ort für Tagesausflüge auf die Kap-Halbinsel, nach Boulders Beach zu den Pinguinen, nach Kapstadt, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek und auch um über den Gorden’s und Clarence Drive nach Betty‘s Bay (Pinguine) und Hermanus (Wale) zu fahren. Wonderful

I went to SA to spend New Year's Eve with my family and friends. I happened upon this place it is well-- incredible in every way and I am already planning to go back! From the personal touch offered by Leon and Luke and their incredible team, to the room that smelled of lilac when I entered. Breakfast was incredible I couldn't eat it all. It's centrally located in a very safe environment.

Overall the hotel was very good only let down by the restaurant they did not have the main 2 items on the menu and the starter was inedible and was difficult to get any answers from the staff as to why. Breakfast was reasonable.
