This property is rated 3.5 stars on Expedia. I try to stay at 4star or more properties. Unfortunately this property is not 3.5 star anymore. It needs updating. Overlooking the aging apartment, the windows are very dirty. It looks like it hasn’t been washed in a year. I understand wind and dust along the beach but the dust is in the curtains & blinds. The window at the entry way is terrible as well as the beautiful big patio window. The dirty window overlooking the ocean is a real pity and eyesore. The smelly mop in the bedroom closet where one hangs one’s clothing is distasteful. I didn’t hang any clothes because I didn’t want the smell permeate my clothes. For travelers, it is very inconvenient to have a kitchenette but have no dishsoap or paper towels and no toiletries in bathroom - there usually come with places I book on Expedia. The trelli door at the front door, is so rusted and difficult to open. I stayed at the Colosseum for less but had the room serviced daily, with essentials supplied, spotless cleaned. I chose an ocean facing location for the remainder of my stay. Towels are old, sofas are old and overall not 3.5. This property star rating needs to be downgraded to 2 star. This apartment needs attention to sparkle. It is super convenient to get by car to the city.
