Es ist jedesmal wie wieder nach Hause kommen....

Klar, das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, aber gut in Schuss. Die Lage direkt im Zentrum ist super. Schön ist auch das kostenfreie Parken mit Service! Tolles Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Das Personal ist selbst für die eh schon hohen südafrikanischen Verhältnisse extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier schreibt man Service noch groß. Bin mal gespannt wie sich die Renovierungsarbeiten jetzt ab April bemerkbar machen. Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren und werden auch wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Adequate accomodation for overnight stay

Upgrade/renovations of hotel was promised for the future. Some lifts were a problem; one lift couldn't stop on the basement floor and another lift was stuck on the 12th floor. All-in-all, we had a nice stay, for overnight accommodation

Leider beim zweiten Aufenthalt im St Georges innerhalb kürzerer Zeit einige Abstriche: weit überteuertes Zimmer (Preis wegen eines Radrennens und guter Auslastung fast verdoppelt), Zimmer düster, mit Blick auf eine Mauer, Möbel abgewohnt, Bett durchgelegen und quietschend. Bei drei Taxifahrten wird von der Rezeption aus immer derselbe Taxifahrer gerufen, der ein überhöhte Preise fordert. Tipp: besser Taxistand gegenüber nutzen, Uber-App nutzen oder für Fahrten zum Flughafen beim Shuttleservice Centurion buchen.

Buono nel servizio un po datato nella struttura, Nel complesso buono. A due passi dal centro e dalle maggiori attrazioni. Mi sento di consigliarlo anche per il personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Downtown-Hotel mit Blick auf den Tafelberg

Hochhaus mit Weitblick. Fantastische Sicht aus vielen Zimmern auf Devil‘s Peak, Table Mountain und Lion‘s Head. Große Zimmer, schlicht eingerichtet. Ruhig, sowohl die Zimmer als auch ab 19 Uhr die Umgebung Das Viertel The Foreshore komplett. Zentral gelegen, je 20 Minuten zu Fuß nach Waterfront und Observatory sind fast schon die weitesten Wege. Personal freundlich. Frühstück okay, kein Restaurant im Haus.

Not the best...

Good size room in fairly good condition. Shower tube broken and old dirt left around taps. Comfortable beds and OK bed linen. Wifi not functioning in rooms and rarely in reception area. One of receptionist quite rude when we complained about this. Breakfast and staff fine, but drab room.

hotel St. George ist Wahl

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und das Einchecken problemlos. Unser Zimmer im 8.Stock war sehr gross und sauber, auch das Badezimmer, Auch das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal des Hotels war insgesamt sehr freundlich. Die zentrale und ruhige Lage des Hotels ist vorteilhaft die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss zu erkunden.

Turisteja ei turhaan varoiteta olemaan varovaisia Kapkaupungissa. Kerjäläiset saattavat keskustassakin lähteä perään eivätkä helposti jätä rauhaan. Jotkut yrittävät myydä lippuja paikkoihin, joihin ei ole pääsymaksua. Kokonaisuutena Kapkaupunki on näkemisen arvoinen (Pöytävuori, Waterfront, puistot, läntinen kaupunginosa...).

Gute Lage in der Innenstadt

3 Sterne Hotel in der Innenstadt ,Bushaltestellen in 1Minute zu erreichen,ebenso die Fußgängerzone ,Waterfront 20 Minuten laufen oder in wenigen Minuten mit dem Bus.Das Hotel liegt ideal für einen Citytrip.Der Bahnhof liegt direkt gegenüber sowie Die Minibusstation und in 5 Minuten ist man bei den Fernbussen nach Namibia ,Johannisburg,Pretoria uns so weiter

Worse hotel ever

Hotel staff is rude, don’t do anything with complaints, ring the phone in the middle of the night, no towels, no wifi, noisy, elevaters are not working, no service at all!

Es un hotel en pleno centro

Es un hotel que está en el centro de Cape Town, en el edificio Absa muy conocido, a 300 m de Long street, un poco antiguo pero limpio y con el trato con el personal del hotel muy agradable y simpático. Es un hotel con bastante seguridad, con parking vigialado. Desayuno bufet libre bueno.

An overall good hotel in the centre of the city

Arrived at hotel at about 6 p.m. Fast Check-in by the pleasant lady on the reception. She lead us to our room on 6th floor. Disappointing as no mineral water was supplied for tea / coffee making and no vacuum cleaning done on the carpet of the room during our 4 nights stay. Only bedding was done with linen & towels changed everyday. The kettle was a bit defective. Good & comfortable bed with soft pillows. The room was not soundproof as the noises of the flushing of toilets in the adjacent rooms were disgusting. The room needs an overall upgrading. Wardrobe doors did not open properly and the lights near the curtains were blown out.

No centro de Cape Town, bom custo x benefício

Hotel bem no centro de Cape Town, próximo ao Civic Center, que é onde para o ônibus do aeroporto, quarto com bom espaço, cama confortável, banheiro de bom tamanho, café da manhã razoável, quarto tinha vista da Table Mountain, atendimento dos funcionários cordial, wifi lento e conexão caia, tinha que ter paciência para acessar a Internet, região próxima ao hotel a noite é insegura e desaconselhavel as caminhas noturnas sozinho.

Bem no centro de Cape Town, razoável

Hotel no centro de Cape Town, próximo ao Civic Center, o quarto estava limpo, cama confortável, tinha visão da Table Mountain, o café da manhã era justo, o banheiro era ok, a Internet wifi era lenta, tinha que ter paciência, os funcionários do hotel foram ok, a região próxima ao hotel a noite não é muito aconselhável andar sozinho por ela.
