A highlight was seeing the "Three Sisters" sea stacks, pictured here, up close. A great place to go for a day trip in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Cape D'Or lighthouse on the Bay of Fundy is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the journey and never crowded. Perfect location to enjoy some peace and quiet while taking in the ocean scenery and tall cliffs along the coastline. To see one of the best sunsets, it's best to stay the night. There is a seasonal restaurant and small inn at the lighthouse keepers buildings.

This is the view overlooking the Bay of Fundy from the tip of Cape Split, Nova Scotia. A nice 13 kilometers return hike to the end of the cape. The trail is well maintained, but watch the weather as it can be sunny at the trail head and then be foggy at the end. There are some trails down the cliffs to the coastline as well, but be very aware of the tides as many people have been stranded due to the fast tides.
