「I enjoyed staying here and would defiantly stay again. However the walls are paper thin. I had to bang on the wall and knock on the door to the people next door multiple times. 」

「Very nice hostel, staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Our had a small refrigerator and TV with lots of channels. Bed very comfortable, good shower」

「Socialtel is on top of the mountain, great lodge when visiting Monteverde. We loved the cozy rooms, corridors, hot tub, bar in the premises with live music, especially great gourmet breakfast, lovely little garden in the resort. 」

「This hostel is located in the middle of the city of La Fortuna and is in a fair distance to most of the attractions and excursions. the managers and all who work at the facility are welcoming and super friendly. get ready for a super fun dance night and happy hour offered by the facility team. in addition, they can schedule tours for you for a cheaper rate. we had an excellent stay!」

「Très bel endroit et très belle vue sur Monteverde et les montagnes. Plusieurs espaces commun. Déjeuners copieux et complets. Personnel très disponible et qui facilite le processus de réservation des activités. La cuisine commune est très petite, mais on s’y fait et tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner y est.」

「Pros: refrigerator, 2nd floor (bars on windows, blinds, and locks on windows/doors), parking, A/C in the bedroom, additional blankets, towels provided, sugar, tea/coffee and basic cooking utensils. Lots of facecloths in the bathroom. Soap dispensers. Geckos (they were cute). Walkable to downtown/restaurants. Kind hosts. Responsive and proactive - replaced towels, and recommended driving through Rio Celeste to get to the location from Liberia airport as it’s a safer roadway. We understood...

「Be sure to calibrate your expectations: this is not a luxury apartment. It was, however, an excellent value. While the building wasn't new, the room was well-kept. We were able to find parking each night on the street in front, but had to relocate the car closer one night. The owner is helpful and friendly, and the included breakfast of fruit, eggs, and gallo pinto was solid (especially at this price point). 」

「Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). Rooms have secure key codes, and lockers are situated in the communal kitchen which is large, clean and well equipped. Everything was good. Would recommend.」
