「The lodge was perfect in the heart of the town with plenty of easy walking and withn」

「it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). 」

「It was all so simple, the code was sent through via email for the lock box which contained a fob to get in the main door and key for the bedroom door. Claire was very helpful when we arrived. The rooms are lovely and spacious, comfy bed too! Breakfast was a continental spread and lovely start to the morning, the staff member was very courteous and friendly. 「Friendly and polite staff. Hotel located in town center with lots of shops and a variety of restaurants nearby. The on-site car park is first-come-first serve and becomes full early. Be prepared to park in off-site paid car park if you drive.」

「The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner.
