The property is outdated. The carpets are smelly. The bathroom was full of insects. Even our bed had spiders. The breakfast was very poor (no protein). It wasn't a good stay. The only good thing is the location.

It is a small motel tucked in away from the street, with a delightful frig, freezer and microwave. The breakfast area was well stocked and spacious, with a view of a nice park, that made a pleasant start to our day.

Nice spacious room, comfortable bathroom and shower. Good TV service, adequate air conditioning, decent continental breakfast. The two steps leading into the room were a bit of a challenge, with no handrail. Plenty of parking, great location across from the railroad station and a pretty park.

Great alternative to modern, big corporations- we had a large room with 3 real beds. The fridge was full sized and it was just as clean as you’d expect at Holliday inn or Comfort inn and suite. But for quite a bit less, friendly staff. We were within walking distance of quite a few restaurants and the train depot.

this is an "old Style" motel where you park outside the room . It is in immaculate condition and the interior is modern ,clean and plenty of room. The owner is present and she does pretty much everything. Breakfast is decent. If you want quiet,clean and comfortable this is a true value !

Good place to stay. Clean room and bed. Can hear trains and there was a vehicle racing up and down the only street through Canon City. The noise was not the motel's fault. Parking may be a bit cramped. Park your vehicle nose out. I would stay there again.

Very Nice place to stay in Canon City, CO. Great breakfast and beautiful view out of the windows of Mts. and a park by the river. We would definitely stay again.

Good location. Very clean. Only a continental breakfast. The reason for the 3 star review is the lack of a smoking area. We are NOT smokers. The neighbors next door would step out and smoke on the balcony and the smoke (smell) would flow into our room, ugh! A magnifying mirror by the sink would be helpful since the lighting is so dim in the room.

We had a nice stay. The rooms were very clean and the continental bfast was better than most franchises. The motel is outdated and the rooms are a little small but it’s not a deal breaker for me. I’ll take clean over modern anytime.

Surprisingly great!!! When I arrived at this hotel I was a bit concerned about it’s location. The neighborhood and the property exterior didn’t look so good. The hotel is parallel to a main road and near the Royal Gorge train tour station. I was very surprised how clean this hotel was. The bed, the pillows, floors, bathroom… everything was very clean. The breakfast lounge was spotless. And it turned out that the restaurant across the street had amazing food and view.

The place is like never been upgraded or improved for at least 50 years. Very tiny room, small shower stall, and the AC unit is very noisy, the motel is facing the street so you can hear a lot of traffic and train noises. Very hard to sleep with the uncomfortable bed. I woke up and tried to get something to eat, what they offered is just cereal and drink. They said they provide free breakfast. But all I see is cereal and orange juice. This is definitely not a guest’s friendly place. Don’t waste your money!
