"The cabin was clean and the views from the balcony were amazing. The beds were comfortable, but the rugs on the wooden floor were incredibly slippery. It was not fully what we were expecting based on the description of the room we booked - the description said there would be aircon, microwave and TV, however these were not present in the room. The fans were just about enough to keep us cool overnight, however were not enough for during the day. The bathroom was fine - but be aware it does not have the screen/mesh that the bedroom does, and the walls do not meet the ceiling, so bugs/mosquitoes are able to get in - not ideal if mosquitoes find you as tasty as they find me. There also was no handle on the inside of the bathroom door, so no way to fully close it quietly or to lock it from the inside. It would have been nice to have had directions on how to find the hotel directly from the beach beforehand rather than walking along the road. The hotel is in a good location for the beach and there is a supermarket and restaurants close by. "

We loved that the bedrooms were closed off and did have air conditioning, but that the rest of the unit was completely open The house cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning every morning I had laundry done, and it was very reasonably priced and done very well The unit is within walking distance to almost everything but best of all the beach is right there!"

"We were upgraded to a very nice room overlooking the beach. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our stay included breakfast and dinner- excellent food. Drake Bay is a remote area so it was nice to have everything provided by the hotel. When we took a day tour to Corcovado National Park, the boat picked us up at the beach in front of the hotel. "

"Wonderful, accommodating, and attentive staff!! Beautiful lodge and rooms. Jungle and gorgeously landscaped flowering grounds surround the lodge. The food was delicious and in ample amounts. We did the snorkeling trip to Cano island and the hike in Corcovado park. Saw lots of wildlife on both, though even at the lodge we saw Macaws, a Toucan, Capuchin monkeys, and a large snake climbing a tree!
