"Santa Maria Navarrese is a great location and the hotel is very central, on the corner of the main square. Plenty of gelato options and food nearby. The beach is 2 minutes walk and the path takes you past the best of the beach bars. The beach is pebbly, so best to take sea shoes, but the water is really clear and there are plenty of fish if you snorkel out 10-20m or so. The hotel staff are really friendly and the owners always greet you with a smile and a cheery bon giorno. I would not hesitate...

"Our stay at Hotel Costa Dorgali was wonderful ++! The staff was very communicative and accommodating with all of our needs. The seaside view room was perfect for our holiday and a wonderful sunrise each morning. Hot tip: Get the breakfast at the hotel — beautiful spread and custom omelette and scrambled with pastries, fresh juices and coffee. "Här är det självhushåll som gäller.. även diskmedel får du införskaffa själv. Lite campingkänsla men med lägenheter. Området jättebra, känns tryggt och rent. Nära till stranden, fina gångstråk. Men när det inte är säsong blir utbudet av restauranger avsevärt liten, ett par mataffär finns i grannstaden Murarvera. Blir lite "dött" i området."

"Very spacious apt , clean and great communication with staff, 2 supermarkets across the road which was excellent, and plenty of free parking which was even a bonus. Overall a great place to stay and explore all the fantastic beaches around the area. Only downside was a building site across the road from our balcony but that was a minor issue."

"Historical building entirely renovated with plenty of historical piece of furniture creating a very nice and cosy atmosphere, other than being super clean and very well equipped. Right at the center of Dorgali (plenty of shops, restaurants and artisans walking distance) and few minutes to Cala Gonone by car. Personnel super friendly, kind, efficient and helpful. Abundant and delicious breakfast. We would definitely come back for another trip to Dorgali or Cala Gonone wonderful beaches"

Hotel Costa Dorada

10/10 Excellent

"I think this is the cutest hotel on the water front, all covered in vines, with multiple terrasses, shaded by grapevine and other beautiful flowering vines. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, breakfast tasty and plentiful, staff knowledgeable and helpful. A few points to keep in mind: 1. There's no parking at the hotel, you park next door, at public parking, at 12 euro per day 2. The beach in front of the hotel was not our favorite - too rocky and small. You need to reserve umbrellas/ loungers from the hotel at 20 euros per day. We found that neighboring Spiaggia di Palmasera was much nicer and not crowded. 3. There's no elevator, and if your room is on the 3rd floor, you'll be carrying your luggage up some steep flights of stairs by yourself as there's no one to help you."

"The hotel is immaculate, the grounds and pool are stunning. I would 100% recommend staying here, but make sure you book half board, this covers your sun loungers, umbrella and breakfast and evening meals. The room was perfect, with a beautiful shower and toiletries. It has a mini fridge. We had a superior double. It had an enormous bed. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed five nights and enjoyed every day. The breakfast is incredible, almost everything you could want to eat. The evening meal was out of this world, offering 4 courses. Sea bass was delicious. The beach is superb, with clear water that is so calm. It is literally next to the hotel. It has life guards. It is a 15 minute walk up to villasimius, the local town, which has chemists and shops."

"The property is well maintained and the beach is great. White sand, blue water, enough shade and loungers on the beach and around the pools. Yoga and aqua aerobics were awesome. My only complaint is about the room - the "two-bedroom with kitchen" is not suitable for four adults. The second "bedroom" is so small that even a small carry on didn't fit in it. The two beds are just small cots with mattress. There's no living room, and the tiny kitchen is on the outside (enclosed) terrace, so no AC. No balcony to sit and have coffee on. Service really left a lot to be desired-- our room didn't get cleaned even once in the 4 days of our stay. My husband had to go hunt for fresh towels eventually."

"Unique property that is very photogenic and full of surprises. We particularly loved aperitivo hour at the panoramic bar - beautiful views and excellent service. We ate at the restaurant every night we were there and everything we tried was delicious. We wish the air conditioning had been a bit stronger in our room as it was warm and a bit stuffy at night."

"We stayed in a cottage, which was situated in a good location, close to tne beach. This resort is off a rugged but beautiful stretch of coast. The resort is beautiful, plenty of nature all around. It’s spread out over a hilly site, but has a free electric golf buggy service to get you about. There resort also offers a good mixture of swimming pools and cash bars. The entertainment on offer was good if you wanted it. We did an excellent excursion by boat along the coast as far a Cala Luna. Some of these beaches are stunning. We snorkelled every day and saw a good variety of fish. It’s a really nice resort and the staff were very friendly and helpful."
