Spacious traditional room in an annexe overlooking the small square by the church. Old building with great character. Perfect location.

A bit difficult to find as it is in a pedestrianised zone and hotel parking is limited, but the place itself was very nice. Quote a distance from reception to our room in another part of the hotel, but we were right on the lake with lovely views. The room and bathroom were clean and adequate for our purposes (overnight stop). Breakfast was good, and we were lucky with the weather, so ate outside on the terrace. Plenty of restaurants in the area for evening meals.

We have eaten at their restaurant many times in the past and thought how nice it would be to stay the night. The hotel is a typical Italian 3 star. The room was spotlessly clean, excellent shower, electric fan, kettle and mini bar. There were cans of mineral water in the mini bar but no price list. They cost €2 each! Something I found annoying was it cost €10 to park in the hotel car park! Some on line listings say that parking is free. Most annoying is that the restaurant menu is so limited. Only about 3 choices for each course. We were very disappointed as were others staying at the hotel as we saw many of them in the restaurant we chose to eat at. This is, apparently, something new! Breakfast was excellent, one of the best I’ve ever had in Italy. The only negative is the fruit juice.

Some areas of the property pretty run down. Facilities in common areas not properly cleaned with rubbish overflowing from bins and not always stocked with toilet paper. Bar staff - non existent and untrained. Delivered a bottle of wine but forgot to uncork so had to do it ourselves

Perfekt für Urlaub am See

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am See, das sehr reichhaltige Frühstück wird direkt auf der Seeseite eingenommen, freundliches Personal, das Zimmer hatte einen großen Balkon zum See hin, sehr zu empfehlen. Die Stadt Cannobio bietet alles was man sich wünscht, Restaurants, süße Läden, gratis parken (außer Sonntags), gemütliche Altstadt und Seepromenade

Man bemerkt, dass trotz Umbauphase , alle bemüht sind Ihr Bestes zu geben. Wir hatten ein sehr altes Zimmer , war aber in Ordnung und sauber.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, Zimmer, Bad alles sehr sauber. Frühstück war auch toll. Kritikpunkt: die Bettwäsche hat sehr muffig gerochen, das Innenleben, wie durchgeschwitzt von mehreren Menschen. War sehr unangenehm!

Der Empfang dürfte freundlicher sein. Das TV dürfte nebst italienischen auch deutschsprachige Sender ermöglichen. Frühstück ist ok, freundliches Personal. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt firekt an drr Seepromenade gelegen.
