The room was good and so was the pool. But they charged us another $21 unexpectedly when we checked in. There’s also three different door codes you need, losing the key is $20 and you get 1 towel each per day for the pool (which just seemed like a weird rule). It just felt like there was a lot of rules that weren’t there previously as we have stayed here multiple times before. Most likely won’t book with Grande Rockies again and instead book with one of the other companies that run out of there.

The room was neglected. The kitchen faucet constantly leaked, the ensuite dryer was broken, the room smelled of mildew, the curtain in the bedroom was broken. There was no coffee, sugar or cream in the room (was told you had to pay at the restaurant for cream) The front desk staff (Raj) was condescending, abrupt and rude when we asked for help. The pictures of the suite showed a stand alone soaker tub (no soaker tub in the room) and we were told that kind of room didn’t exist. We were told ice was a charge of $5.00 a bag, The tiles at the pool were lifting and cutting hazard on your feet. Underground parking was extremely limited and very tight stalls (the passenger had to get out before parking in the stall. The room was dirty on arrival (white stains on the chairs, curtains, and bath curtain. We were told check out was at 11:00 but we got called by phone saying to leave at 10:00 and then a knock on the door saying we needed to leave before 11. No house keeping during our entire 3 night stay. Kids playing soccer in the hallways in the evening, It was an awful stay. We did not feel welcome, relaxed, or comfortable in the dirty and poorly maintained space. When we asked to switch rooms we were told they were fully booked (valentines weekend) and for us to find another hotel would be impossible. We are from hours away..

My stay was unpleasant from the get go, interesting directions to get to our room from the front staff. To then our parking stall being taken, and a broken elevator made for a difficult start to our stay. The room was in decent condition but our thermostat wasn’t working, overall would not recommend staying here!

Front desk staff were not helpful or accommodating. Underground parking will not accommodate an suv with a ski box, we were told to park in another area, that was also full. Upon check in, we were not told the elevator near our room was not functioning, which was not helpful given how far the rooms are away from reception. It’s really a 3 star hotel trying to be upscale with the renovations.

Room was in decent condition, they are in the middle of doing renos. Our room was recently painted, paint spots all over the floor, and had a strong odour, looked like everything was quickly put back together. We kept our patio door open as much as we could, luckily it was nice outside. Room wasn’t very clean, finger prints everywhere, dirty floors especially in bathroom, foot prints in shower, furniture especially couch was very stained and quite disgusting, coffee makers could use and update. Resort was ok, kids liked the pool area, good breakfast in restaurant. Resort staff wasn’t the most friendly but overall decent stay.

Room was so hot (28 degrees), had to run a/c all night even in January. Also booked on expedia which said we would have pool access, however as soon as you book you get an email that pool access is no longer included. This should be corrected on Expedia.
