"The staff was fantastic from start to finish, the food was excellent, and the property itself is beautiful. There are plenty of activities available right on the grounds, which makes it easy to enjoy the area without constantly having to leave the property. Everything felt well run and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend The Lodge at Pico Bonito and would happily stay again."

"The upsides: The hotel is BEAUTIFUL - truly an escape in the mountains. The pool overlooks the river which was stunning!!! We stayed at the Colibri house - the space was clean and even though it didn't have AC, we really didn't need it bc there are plenty fans and the night isnt as hot. The downsides: restaurant/bar closes really early and you also have to leave ready your order for brekkie the night before. The lady at reception wasn't very nice either. When we checked out we we moved to the pool and not event 2 mins after we sat down she came to us saying we had to leave unless we spent more $$$ - which we were planning to do lol but her attitude wasn't great"

"This property is run by a delightful gentleman who made you feel at home. I doubt there's any better value for a simple, clean and very comfortable stay in the area. I'm very glad that I stayed here instead of a local hotel. If I'm ever staying in LC alone again it will be my first choice!"

"This was our second time in La Villa de Soledad. We came back because this Bed and Breakfast place is the most amazing, extraordinary and the cleanest hotel we have ever been to. We have traveled the world but nothing like this place. The hosts are very accommodating and warm. It is nestled within the Honduran jungle of Pico Bonito National Park. The endless river sounds add delightful to your stay. The fresh flowers they place in your bedroom as they welcome you is exquisite! Our family loves this place and we will definitely come back!"
