Courteous and very friendly staff in the buffet restaurant, especially Ms. Yashoda if we got the name right. Indian food is the highlight, we ate the same cuisine for 4 days straight and still wanted more. Good pool area as well. Great location next to the buzzing Candolim beach road.

Novotel Gotel and spa in Goa impresses with its vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff it’s an old well maintained property.Kids loved the pool area and it’s close proximity to candolim beach makes it an ideal retreat.
Guests consistently praise the Novotel resort and Spa in Goa for its exceptional staff. From the reception Linda, Shambhavi and Anchal at the restaurant, Daljit,Avi and Shubatra have been really helpful and were always around and took good care of us and not to mention Francis from the pool bar makes some amazing cocktails a must try,visitors often highlight the friendly and helpful demeanor of the staff, contributing to a positive and memorable experience at Novotel Hotel and Spa Goa.

Very tired and shabby looking property. Rooms, spa, pool all in need of some serious TLC and a renovation. Rooms are small and there were musty smells that frequently entered our room presumably from the AC. Staff were young and inexperienced. Everything took sooooo long or had to be asked for several times. There also appeared to be a complete lack of anyone in charge - front of house, in the reception which probably explains the erratic/ non existent service. On reflection the best service came from the main entrance security who always said hello / smiled / were friendly whenever we entered or arrived. I can only assume they were outsourced! On the plus side the food from the al la carte menu was ok. Definitely wouldn’t return. Much better and cheaper places to stay in Candolim.
