"Staying here was like visiting my friends. Everyone, and I mean every one of the staff we had contact with was top-notch. For instance, take the woman who seems to be in charge of the breakfast area. The very first day I started getting some eggs and she came right over with one of the trays and with a genuinely warm smile offered it to me. I’ve stayed in much more expensive places that didn’t do that. From then on, she was our friend. Or take the people at the desk. They could not be more helpful. They always made sure we had any information we needed to plan our day. On the first day, they asked what we were planning to do; when I told them they said that particular thing was closed for a while and suggested several other similar things. The day we checked out I realized I booked it for the wrong day, but between them and Expedia, it turned out to be nothing at all to change. I could go on, but you get the idea.
For a place that I can’t think of a single bad thing to say about, it makes me want to figure out how we can do this trip again next year and every year after that. The room is nicely laid out, has a fantastically comfortable king bed, and is always kept clean. There are three or four nice carts to get your luggage in and out and I never did see a time when there wasn’t at least one waiting there to use. The amenities are also impressive, matching much more expensive places.
