靠近学院

酒店地理位置优越，无论去景区、学院、火车站都方便。酒店出来左手边不远处就是展览馆、三一学院，剑桥大学也在附近，但是酒店呢，设施老旧，太旧了，而且简陋，无性价比可言。

The lift was broken and was out for the next fortnight . Our room was on the second floor and we had to walk up all the stairs with our cases . They were charging £15 for car parking at the hotel and no offer of free breakfast or free car parking to compensate for the lift being broken .

Convenient Royal Cambridge

The team at the hotel were very good, helpful and accommodating. Good parking facility. Walkable distance to town centre. Enjoyed the stay.

Central to Cambridge so good location. The bar was closed at 10pm with sign apologising and directing to reception for drinks, but reception said sorry bar staff had to pop out! Breakfast buffet good, but waitress ask what hot breakfast we wanted, as cooked to order, however had only just sat down with cereal when cooked breakfast arrived and put on the table! Notice that she did this with other guests.

Convenient & clean but in need of refurbishment.

Good position for Cambridge centre 10 mins walk, and parking good value. Clean but rather tired and in need of a refurb, windows etc old and single glazed and main road traffic quite noisy. Staff polite enough, but hotel very bland with no character/atmosphere at all. On arrival were informed that there was a Christmas Party so no restaurant food available.

Regular visitor and generally satisfied

I've stayed several times in this hotel because of ts proximity to Cambridge University's Engineering and Management Schools. On the one hand it has a traditional English character, on the other it would benefit from some renovation. My room was quite large and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and needs an upgrade.

Over rated

We booked an executive double and were put in an an apartment which was spacious but certainly no luxury. The room was so stiffingly hot it prevented sleep. If you opened the window you contended with road noise instead. Comfy bed if you can get to sleep. Good location. Poor breakfast range and when they say breakfast is 8-10 be there in good time as they start packing up before 10 ... No second helpings for us! You might as well stay in a travelodge.

Je connais cet hôtel depuis 50 ans. Pas de problème majeur, mais la vétusté commence à se faire sentir - ascenseur ne marche pas toujours, pas de rampe pour les marches devant l'entrée......... Toujours très bien situé

Single room. Good size. But draughty windows. One small radiator in bedroom giving out minimum heat. Radiator in bathroom not working so cold room. hot rail rail not working either. Duvet cover white. Not a good colour when stains on it! Only good thing was location
