I Chose this property because of its history and how peaceful it was. The room had modern amenities but the design was poorly considered(glass door and right up against your knees and no latch).They had a wedding booked but I wasn't informed in advance that I would be restricted from using the common areas around the hotel and grounds, if I had I may have booked elsewhere. I would not interfere with a wedding but the fact that they were loud until 1:00am greatly reduced my enjoyment of the property. When I brought this up to the desk staff they seemed to be unsympathetic to me concerns. When I wrote the manager she said she would check and get back to me, she didn't.

A unique hotel,built on its previous history as a regimental officers mess. It retains an atmosphere of a sophisticated gentleman’s club staffed by kind and thoughtful professional staff. What a brilliant choice I picked during my stay in Calgary. 10 out of 10.

The staff was very helpful and responsive. The garden was gorgeous and would be amazing for a special occasion (the photo opportunities are endless). I always wish I could stay longer...it's such an amazing spot.

The Inn was amazing, great staff, beautiful Rooms! Booking through Hotels.com was the unfortunate part. We chose the more expense hotel closest to the casino to save on cab fairs but turns out they were just as far away as a cheaper one….thanks Hotels.com!

very nice facility. The only thing was that the room was so small that there was no room for even a very small desk to sit and use a laptop/. However, the room was otherwise cleverly designed and the shower and separate WC very spacious.

Wonderful staycation

Wonderful boutique hotel with excellent service! Plenty of room to social distance. Plenty of parking and wonderful walking paths and park. Food was excellent!!

Mixed feelings

Room described on hotels.com was not given to us on checkin. Hotel said it was not their fault that pictures and descriptions were incorrect but hotels.com’s fault. We had booked a Premium room with private bathroom, larger room with 2 chairs, view of courtyard. Instead we got a small room, 1 chair, no view, no private bathroom. To be clear, we would stay there again if there is a guarantee to receive what you book and pay for. Disappointed in the misleading pictures and no resolution of who put the wrong pictures and descriptions on the booking site. A room with no private bathroom is only suitable if you are travelling alone. Beautiful restored building. Loved everything about our stay except for room not being as booked. We resorted to using the lobby washroom when we required privacy. Buyer beware when reserving “Premium” rooms.

we like the proximity to our daughter's residence. She lives the Curry complex so we just walk across to her building. We find there are limited vegetarian offerings on the menus and while we are told we can take the meat out.. there doesn't seem to be an alternate protein option. The staff are fabulous, friendly and very helpful.

The Property is very unique but only opened in October so not sure if they are very organized yet. Our room (for 3) had a double bed and a twin bed and was very compact. Toilet and shower were in a glass enclosure so not real private. Sink was outside the shower. I asked for a hairdryer and they said they only had 1! They said they would go buy a couple more but sadly didn’t not receive one. Left with wet hair, curling iron in hand. No kleenex, 4 bars of soap in both shower and sink so kind of wasteful as they would have to throw all of them away (hopefully) after we left. Room a little dusty under beds but otherwise clean. Gardens nice, little convenience store on site. We didn’t eat any meals there but looked and smelled good. A couple private rooms for groups.

Local, good facilities and food. Room was comfortable and boutique in style and design. Even though hot weather , air condition was a god send. Staff were very friendly and nothing could be more effort.

This is a beautiful hotel. They just recently opened so there are a few things missing. The staff was incredible and very helpful. And the restaurant for dinner was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend.
