「Typical chain hotel with casino. The thermal springs were really good but lack a coffee shop. Restaurants fair but not great. Good Gardens but nowhere to sit. Good value for money.」

「A short but very sweet stopover for us at this lodge. The staff are beyond excellent and offered great service, activities and fabulous food. So glad we stayed and suggest you do too.」

「The lodge was excellent the staff super friendly ,the breakfast was excellent the pool was perfect to relax at .The ocean walk is just moments away and the walk into Hermanus was stunning .Whales were everywhere we were there in Oct .Hermanus was a perfect coastal get away」

「Beautiful Views and professional hospitality.」

「Our stay at Birkenhead House was the ultimate Hermanus retreat. From the warm, attentive team to the eclectic design and breathtaking floral displays, every detail left us feeling spoiled. Ideally situated steps from the beach and scenic walking routes, it was a paradise for nature lovers—complete with dozens of whale sightings, rich birdlife, and the striking indigenous flora of the Western Cape.」

「Amazing view」
