「What a gem of a place. Hosts Celine and Fabian were very friendly and accomodating. They have 3 rooms in a homestay with lovely continental breakfast, including fresh eggs, orange juice, bread, tea, coffee abd cereals. You can use the outdoor kitchen complete with bbq by the pool and they preapre bbq packs at an additional cost. 「We received a notice prior to arriving our check in wouldn't be until 7PM which was ridiculous. We sent an email advising we'd be arrive around 1200hrs for check in. When we arrived we weren't able to get in and the owner advised it would be around 1500hrs as they weren't available at this time. We went for lunch and returned around 1500hrs and was told they weren't available until after 1800hrs to check us in. When I booked this unit I thought it was a Hotel.. It's a B&B. 「Our stay at Quinta Da Foz was amazing. Room was very clean. It's a beautiful centuries old traditional family home that really brings you back in time. The tour and attention Francisco provides is awesome. Breakfast is served by his mother at the family table with a lit wood burning fireplace. Loved our stay here.」

「This was a good hotel for the price and location. I was thrilled at the walkability from the hotel to everywhere that I wanted to go in the city. The longest walk to anywhere I wanted to go was 15 minutes. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They made the stay more pleasant and were helpful when I had requests.
