This refreshing green area used to work as a complement of the important Thermal Hospital that named the town of Caldas da Rainha (“Queen‘s Baths“). During the 15th century the Queen Dona Leonor, wife of king Manuel the 1st, tried the therapeutic waters of Caldas da Rainha and a long lasting wound was at last cured, after many other treatments and medicines that did not work out. A very cute boutique hotel. Everything was great. The only problem was that they do not have an elevator and we could not take our luggage two floors up but they were very professional and friendly and gave us a room in the lower level which was only a few steps and they helped us with it. Hotel is also in a convenient location close to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay and the breakfast was a nice added touch. The staff were all friendly and allowed us an early check in. We did have an incident at check-in where staff accidentally assigned us a room that was already booked. Later on, we had to repack our belongings and move after using the room for a little over an hour. It was inconvenient to move, but staff were sincerely apologetic. Overall, it was good value and we would recommended staying here! Thank you.

This was one of the most unique hotels I have ever been in. We really liked staying here on our trek north to Porto after see Berlangas and Obidos. Staff so friendly and helpful, rooms so spacious and clean and uniquely furnished. The early morning wakeup call from the peacock was pretty cool.

The room was clean, staff pleasant, breakfast amazing. If you are young, the Japanese platform bed is really cool & comfortable. For someone with bad knees it was difficult. Unfortunately our room had an unpleasant odor - very musty. We opened the patio door which made it tolerable. The restaurant is absolutely amazing so do book a table!!!

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to shops and restaurants. Our room was quite comfortable, except for the bed being a little too low but we definitely had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very good, eggs and bacon to order and a lot of other choices. The only thing that I would let other travellers know is that there are stairs, not many.

Great family stay

Great stay. Very cute town. Stayed one night. Had great dinner and breakfast at hotel restaurant. Rooms are pretty, curated by artists. Property premises very nice - be on the lookout for wild peacocks! Clean rooms and bathroom. Excellent customer service by Alinha at front desk - very welcoming and friendly. The family room was great for our family of 4 - lots of stairs, but it is Europe after all. AC units in each room!!

Extremely clean and very comfortable bed. Beautiful art in the room. It was so exciting to see some peacocks come and go out of the courtyard as they flew around the town! Highly recommend this place. The breakfast was phenomenal too.

Beautiful place, great restaurant!

Such a special hotel with unique design! great rooms, beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The staff was really accommodating and nice, and made our stay very pleasant. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant where breakfast is included, but the better part was dinner - really high-end dining experience, only a few steps away from our room. Recommended!

Good location hotel in center of nice city that was wonderful illuminated for Christmas. Friendly staff, nice room and good breakfast. However, we experienced some noise from the rooms above us (not spund proof), and the finishing in the bathroom has some flaws (e.g. kit, painting of tiles in shower)

Space was unique and very clean. Excellent breakfast included in the morning. Peacock calls on the balcony woke us up early but was beautiful to observe. Some street noise but mostly quieted down by 10pm. Staff very friendly and helpful.
