Comfortable bed and nice linens.

The room in the pic was updated and nice. Booked a queen bed so they moved us to a queen room that was much older and not as comfortable.

Nice hotel, quiet place, but no hot shower

This is a nice, beautiful and quiet hotel. The rooms are nice. Breakfast is average. Everything in Banos within walking distance. I would give this hotel 10 points, if it had a hot shower. Even after letting the water in the shower run for 20 minutes, the water was far away from being hot. It just got a bit warmer than cold.

Excellent hotel, very helpful staff

Great staff, very big rooms, nice quiet location. The staff made sure to all my needs, they knew well about the tours, there is a possibility to get a massage in room and the pool has hot spring water.

Great hotel just a few minutes walk from the baths

We had an incredible stay at Serra Nova hotel. The location is perfect in the small town just minutes from Cajamarca. You can pay 80 cents to take a van into town just steps from where the hotel is located. The Inca Baths are about a four minute walk from the front door of the hotel and if you want to eat outside o of the hotel, there is an incredible restaurant called Villa Rica just around the corner. The food was some of the best that we had in Peru. The staff at Serra Nova are extremely accommodating and very welcoming. You won't regret a stay at Serra Nova!

Very kind staff

The room was spacious enough, comfortable and clean; minor complaint: the carpet was shabby and could use replacing. The staff, especially Ms. Clara, was wonderful and did all she could to make our stay comfortable. The Hostal suffered from low water pressure during our stay, but I think this is an issue throughout Baños and should be addressed by municipal authorities.
