I really enjoyed my stay, especially the incredible view of the pyramids — it was truly special. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always helpful. The location is convenient for visiting the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), and is relatively close to Sphinx International Airport, which makes it a good value option for short stays and sightseeing. That said, it’s important to know what to expect: the neighborhood is quite loud, with barking dogs at night, and there is a noticeable amount of dirt and trash in the surrounding area. Giza has a very different feel compared to central Cairo. For getting around, I mostly used Uber, which worked well overall. However, it’s worth planning rides in advance, as occasionally drivers may ask for additional cash payments outside the app. In such cases, it’s best to stick to the agreed price in the app. Overall, a good value stay if you come prepared and know what to expect.

Stunning views of the Pyramids from breakfast terrace and wonderful local breakfast. Rooms spotlessly clean with international TV channels BBC, France 24, Al Jazerah, CNN and several free movie channels. ALL staff at reception could not have been more helpful in organizing taxi's, private tour and transport to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, to Memphis and the Pyramids. Overall, good value for money in a safe hotel environment for international solo or group travellers. The only reservation I have about the hotel which is located on the top three floors of a residential building (11/12/13th Floors) is that if there would be an electrical blackout, the lift would not work and 12 flights of stairs is a long way to climb to reception.

Beware! The hotel cancelled our reservation the night before we arrived, due to what they called a “technical error.” We were forced to rebook another hotel on short notice (Expedia was most helpful). The Crowne apologized and offered airport shuttle to and from our new hotel, but the morning of our return journey they refused to honor their promise. In a high stress city like Cairo, this added stress was the last thing we needed.

We had a great stay and experience at Crowne Pyramids Palace! Very friendly and courteous staff. Took care of everything we needed for an amazing trip. They made us feel like family during our entire stay. View of pyramids from our room were breathtaking! Guides and drivers they provided were very knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel safe. Amazing trip and highly recommend! Will definitely be back!

Das Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr sauber. Es gibt alles was man braucht, auch einen Föhn im Bad. Das Personal ist unglaublich sympathisch und extrem hilfsbereit. Man bekommt alle Hilfe, die man braucht. Das Frühstück ist sehr üppig und man kann es auf einer der beiden Terrassen einnehmen, wobei die Dachterrasse einen unglaublich spektakulären Ausblick auf die Pyramiden bietet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

It’s good for may be one night stay not more than that. Balcony picture is legit others not sure, I.e. Why they are still advertising vip room picture with pyramid view , now there is building next door blocking the view. servers and house keeper are fantastic hence 2 star. Also found the management loves to overcharge on tours. Probably that’s whole Cairo. Travellers should research before buying any tours from hotels including from this hotel. Not a consistent hospitality from management, they will welcome you with open arms when you arrive after second night I felt like I was burden lol. Breakfast gets boring too. Area not good at all. Never again to this area and this hotel. I have travelled 13 different countries and I always want to go back to same hotel. This time I don’t feel same.

My stay at the Crowne Pyramids Palace was really excellent. The staff made me feel right at home and accommodated all my needs during the stay. The food was very good. I loved the breakfast and the menu has lots of good options. My room was very clean on arrival and well cared for during my stay. The rooftop patio also has an incredible view of the Giza pyramids which I quite enjoyed in the evenings. Thank you Crowne Pyramids Palace for the lovely stay❤️🇪🇬

Simply terrible! This place is a scam, the pictures are not from the actual hotel, they are trying to deceive the customers. I couldn’t stay more than one night, asked for a refund for the rest of the days since I payed for a suite and that was not what I was given. This is what I sent the hotel, they seemed like they were going to give me my partial refund and I have yet to receive it, also expedia it’s not collaborating with me. Hello! Like I spoke to you in person, I was not pleased withe new accommodation. To begin with, I was not told about it at check in, I had to say something when I was brought to the room otherwise you guys wouldn’t have mention it. After careful consideration, we decided to leave not only because the room was not what I booked, neither was the view to the pyramids, which was the only reason why I had booked at your hotel. On top of that, the small fridge was making loud noises and I had to unplug it, even though I had insulin and other perishable goods that needed to be refrigerated. Third of all, there was hair on the bed, which was a little disgusting to say the least. Fourth of all, it was very hard to sleep even when earplugs on and music on my phone because of the loud dogs barking all night. Fifth of all, the wifi wasn’t working. Sixth of all, this morning was super hot and the AC unit just blows hot air. I have to add, the pictures on your Expedia account are not real and they are deceiving. In conclusion, we couldn’t stay, I appreciate

Amazing little hotel, 20 minute walk to the Pyramids. View of Pyramids from my room was nothing short of spectacular. Family owned and operated, when you stay there, you join that family. Ibrahim and all the staff catered to my every need,made me feel at home. Highly highly recommend!!
