The Beachcomber was a lifesaving station in the late 1800s. It opened as a bar in 1978 to cater to the increasing number of beachgoers in the region. Now, together with the adjacent beach, it is one of the most popular spots to unwind on Cape Cod, particularly for teenagers and young adults.

Both charge a fee, but money spent on parking at the Beachcomber can be used against purchases inside the establishment. The bar is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but specific opening days vary throughout the season. Check ahead to make sure it will be open during your visit.
