「The whole hotel was very rundown and sad. It smelled like stale bar smoke. The room had hair on the bed along with worn out and sandpaper rough linens. The shower door was hanging off its track. There was mold in the corners and the carpet stunk. It felt like a you hostel more than a hotel. 」

「First of all, the property is perfection! The staff is the best! Don't get me started on the breakfast! The chef in that kitchen is an artist! Take a walk into town and go to the pub for great food and so much fun experiencing the Irish music! All that and you haven't even seen the cliffs yet! Great stay. Seriously great stay! 」

「If I could give more stars, I would. We rented The Suites at Hotel Doolin, and they could not have been more cozy or more relaxing. The showers are amazing, they have little fireplaces (artificial, but a lovely touch). The staff is exceptional, genuinely kind and professional, especially Aileen (I believe was her name). 「Frühstücksbuffet war ganz ok, das Zimmer passabel - hatten ein Zimmer neben dem Aufzug und im Hotel fand eine Festlichkeit statt, sodass die höhere Frequentierung bei Nacht die Geräusche der Aufzugsanlage einem in den Schlaf summte. Uns hat es leider nicht gefallen. 」

「From checki in to check out and in between was wonderful. The lovely woman at check in upgraded us to a larger room. (Silly Americans with large luggage) staff even helped tote our luggage’up and down the three flights of stairs. Hot delicious breakfast cooked to order each morning. Ashley and all of the staff were lovely and hospitable. Room was clean, bed comfortable, heater worked well. Room cleaning offered each day. Dinner was lovely and the Guiness and our first baby Guiness memorable....
