It was a nice hotel. It looked like it had been remodeled recently. Our room was spacious. I know AC is not a big thing in Europe but given that the rooms look like they had recently been renovated I was a little surprised that they had not added AC. Otherwise the rooms were clean and the staff helpful. It was close to a nice area with plenty of restaurants and although we didn't get to see it while it was open, the castle was nearby.

Good location hotel

Very good hotel, the location is excellent which right in the center. Close to all places you want to go. You if you drive here, public packing is available, only 2-3 mins walk. Price is also reasonable if you plan to pack over night. I only paid 30 Euro for 3 days.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel is dated but well maintained and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is perfectly located in the city center. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel is in great location however there is no air conditioning, which was very warm in the hotel and if you try to open the windows it’s extremely loud outside. Bathroom had some mold in between the tiles. Staff is very nice and helpful.

From Monday to Thursday

Overall value for money with a large room and very good bed. Only issue as we were sleeping with open windows due to the heat is the kebab in front of the hotel where students are used to finish the night during weekends. So avoid summer weekends:) Otherwise perfect place to rest for 1 night on your journey

Only positive is it's location which is close to the chateau. the hotel was an overall disappointment. This hotel is in dire need of renovation an update.

We had a very nice stay and the staff were very friendly and easy to work with. The rooms are small but normal for a boutique hotel of this type…and very clean. The location is excellent near the heart of Caen and the many dining and shopping options. It is on the city’s metro line for easy transport and is even walkable from the main rail station, if you prefer. The one downside we found was that there is no a/c, so for cool air you can open the windows…which is fine except that the area can be noisy at night with traffic and other tourists out on the town. If you’re a light sleeper you may struggle. But overall we found it a very nice overall stay, well worth the money.

Good central location.plenty of stairs. The lift is very small! The shower was a 'DEATHTRAP'. Hugely slippery and I was petrified to move in case I slipped over. How expensive is a anti- slip shower mat?? (not much). A kettle would have been nice as well for a tea/coffee in the morning.

Le personnel est formidable ( surtout celui de nuit). L’hôtel est très bien placé proche de toute commodité. En revanche très déçu par le petit déjeuner, bien que qualitatif, nous nous attendions à beaucoup mieux en terme de choix, la concurrence fait beaucoup mieux,Nous avons même annulé celui du deuxième jour.

Eravamo in 5, e la camera oggettivamente era proprio piccola, ci si girava a malapena. Molto cordiale lo staff dell'albergo, molto utile la possibilità del parcheggio, ristoranti vicini e centro vicino. Non è che ci sia molto a Caen a prezzi modici. Quindi, anche se non mi ha fatto impazzire, dovessi tornare a Caen, probabilmente tornerei qui.
