An oasis in the desert

When I arrive at this hotel I immediately feel relaxed. The location is ideal as it’s just off the motorway and the staff are ultra friendly.

Great stopover hotel

Lovely hotel convenient for stop off on trip from northern Spanish ports to the Algarve. Fantastic taster menu with wine which was also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Oasis in the Desert

This hotel is like an oasis in the desert. The location is spectacular and there are plenty of walks to go on with the dogs. The staff are ultra friendly and the facilities are second to none. We have been coming here for many years and it has never disappointed us. They opened the outside swimming pool while we were there and that was an added bonus

Not just a hotel, but an oasis! After an overnight flight and then a 3+ hour drive from Madrid airport, Hotel Hospes de Palacio Arenales & Spa was just what we needed. We luxuriated by the pool and were fortified with snacks and drinks at the pool bar. We also booked an hour in the spa, which was refreshing. The staff was unfailingly polite and helpful. The only negative was that there was a Saturday night wedding, and we could hear some of the guests noisily tromping through the hallways at 2am.

One of our favourite hotels in Spain. Stayed many times now. Convenient location. Peaceful and relaxing. Complimentary Spa available to guests. Friendly staff and atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended. Dog friendly which is how we found the hotel initially in our search If visiting in summer take in the sunset from the pool restaurant and watch the cranes return to their nests. I am very very picky and only stay in familiar chain hotels. Took a gamble and hit the jackpot staying here. Exceeded my expectations. The ONLY annoying thing was the twin beds pushed together which did not work. Other than that this is a top tier resort with a lot of attention to the most minute details. I would highly recommend this resort to the picky traveler like me.

A great experience.

The hotel has a delightful ambience. Set in open country with livestock and storks for company it provides a lovely retreat from the close, but not heard, north/south motorway. We chose it for its convenience as a stop over journeying south through Spain. Dinner was a treat and the breakfast offered a wide choice to suit all tastes and including such things as branded cereals with cooked options too which isn't always the case in Spain. The bacon and eggs were really tasty. Would definitly visit again.

Our room was beautiful. The car charging was very welcome. However, as vegetarians we were very let down in the restaurant. The advertised veggie options featured a couple of starters and no main courses. We were offered a plate of grilled veg. Not what us expected in a hotel of this quality.
