A cool retro hotel close to the heart of Ballina. Room was super clean and very comfortable. It was nice to sit in the afternoon sun on the sunloungers on the grass...we did both afternoons with a glass of wine. The host suggested a French restaurant in the town centre which was also fantastic. The Wharf restaurant is also a must do We enjoyed our stay in Ballina. Only 1 suggestion....issue parking spots per room as it was annoying to come out of our room with cars so close to our door we could hardly get out.

Our room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The parking lot can get quite full but we never had an issue finding a spot near our room. We didn’t use the bbq facilities but saw other families enjoying them and would be keen to use them next time. My only negative about this accommodation is that we had neighbours on each side who smoked (cigarettes outside and marijuana in one of the rooms), and it smelled so strong of marijuana in our own room that we had to leave the window open to air it out. We did put towels under the doors to make it better, but the smell was quite strong. We didn’t complain about it because we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway, and probably not much that staff could do. But I would definitely stay here again and enjoy the convenient location to all areas of Ballina (walking distance to CBD).

Clean, very friendly staff and helpful. A little noisy due to its proximity to the main road in to Ballina, but it wouldn’t stop me from staying again.
