Upon arrival, the host told me that there had been a 'mistake' and that she had given the room away to other guests. "This was a fantastic place and fantastic value stay; the room, kitchenette and bathroom were immaculate - super clean. The room was really well decorated, the bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean, the shower was hot and had great water pressure. There was a nice view of the garden. Everything was brilliantly designed and worked. For example, the bedside light had both a USB A and USB C charging point underneath; the first I’ve seen to have both. When I called ahead because I’d be arriving late, Bettina was super helpful and then, when I was checking out, Grace could not have been more brilliant, giving me directions to where I was going, offering to store my luggage. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Tonder. One tiny thing, if you have heavy luggage or have any mobility issues, you might want to request a ground floor room as you have to go up a metal staircase for the first floor. I was on the first floor and felt very secure. Plus it’s four minutes away from Tønder station. Highly recommended."

"Excellent location across from the waterfront. Steps up to the entrance but a small, narrow ramp to the side of the hotel for wheelchairs. Lobby extremely attractive and clean. Staff welcoming and check-in stressfree. We booked an accessible room - the bathroom was spacious with expected amenities. The room was clean and the bed comfortable although not quite big enough to easily move around in a wheelchair. We did not book breakfast (at €20/person we thought it a little on the high price side). We would stay here again if in the area and recommend the hotel as excellent value for money especially in the location."

"The cleaning staff and the breakfast lady do an amazing job! However, it seems nothing is fixed when broken. Even the toiletroll holder was busted, the tiles in the bathroom damaged and the grouting moldy. But is was very cheap and the bed was fine. And, as mentioned, it was surprisingly clean and the breakfast was brilliant for the price. Will visit again if the opportunity arises."

"Hotellet er gammelt og det bærer det præg af, dog var det værelse vi boede på rent og pænt. Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme, især rengørings-pigen, vi havde nemlig problemer med at få tilsendt en kode til at komme ind, hun var bare så sød. Morgenmaden skulle vi lige vente på, men det var fint, det smagte godt, der var lidt, men det var godt. Jeg er sikker på at vi vender tilbage på et tidspunkt."

"Landhafen is located in beautiful Niebüll between yellow fields of canola. The hotel is beautifully decorated with bright yellow accents. The rooms are very modern. We loved using the sauna and hang out in the hammock chairs in the evening. The kids loved petting the goats and playing in the beautiful garden under the fruit trees. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of vegan options. "

"A bit of a mixture feelings about the place. Although in overall it looks great and sleep was comfortable, and the place was clean enough, the overall experience was somewhat mediocre for the price. Plus, perhaps expected too much from a 300+ years old tavern... The breakfast was rather basic, thought with fresh good bread."
