This was one of our favourite hotels ever! Nothing beats that view… seeing it the first time on arrival is breathtaking. In general the decor was beautiful and unique and added to the sense of relaxation. The food was delicious - both the great breakfast spread and the lunch/dinner menu. And the cocktails were top notch and watching the sunset from the bar was something we did almost every night of our stay in Buzios. All the staff and servers were friendly and helpful. So happy that we picked Vila D’este for our stay in Buzios!

This luxurious boutique hotel is perfectly located, offering gorgeous views and just a short walk from Rua das Pedras. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the amenities were outstanding. We traveled in July, so the heated pool connected to the sauna was an especially wonderful touch. The bed was very comfortable and shower was great! This has become our favorite new gem while visiting Buzios!

Honestly, the hotel is amazing and very well located including stairs down to the waterfront which not all hotels on the hill have. Beautiful decor, great amenities, well maintained, helpful staff, the restaurant is delicious. I’m giving it 4 stars because the room was quite small, we had trouble figuring out where to put our ONE suitcase. There is a window into the bathroom so you can see the other person sitting on the toilet, and again, it’s so small so there isn’t really anywhere to go. Nothing is provided, not even water.

Gorgeous hotel with amazing views. The reception staff was exceptional!! They were helpful with all our requests!! The rooms were great. I just got the classic room but I had friends that got upgrades. I highly recommend the room with jacuzzi!! They were so kind to heat it for us every night before our arrival. The hotel is centrally located to so many restaurants bars and shopping!! No doubt I would stay here again.

Pousada muito bonita muito confortável instalações fantásticas. Funcionários muito deficientes na recepção. Muito burocráticos check-in lento e burocrático desnecessário. Não tem estacionamento, seu carro tem que ficar na rua. Equipe de funcionários do café da manhã excelente e do restaurante bar também.

A nice modern property looking over the sea. The breakfast portions are small however you do have the buffet. If you have a sea front room please remember ear plugs as local clubs can be very loud and play music till 5am
