「Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff. Nice pub. Good breakfast. Perfect for Buxton stop over. 2minute walk from Opera House for gig we were at. And parking nearby.」

「Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat.」

「Great location, friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds, lightweight but warm duvet. Excellent. Nice food.」

「I stayed for one night here, and i wasn't disappointed . 「Very well maintained, ample parking, staff friendly, a choice of breakfast, lovely location, excellent toiletries and food fantastic. It's a 10/10」

(I work in a technical field, I'm not dim, but jeez, I felt stupid) Considering people milling around outside the pub at night were quite drunk, shouty, and possessed of questionable decision making, I ended up putting a chair in front of the door...

「Pleasant stay …very good room…helpful staff……think could upgrade non cooked breakfast options a little …not too onerous to offer good bread, jams or yoghurt or fruit but evening meals good」
