"We enjoyed the outside pool. The sauna and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was decent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The laundry facility was nice which we needed to use but $7 a load is a little pricey."

"Staff was incredibly helpful and very kind. Justin, Eddie and the other guy…. Unfortunately the hotel was not as described online. It was very nice and comfortable but there was no gym as indicated and Jo breakfast as also indicated. They are going through a remodel and apparently that’s why. We were told we could purchase breakfast. The elevator floors were very dirty but other than that it was great."

"Traveled from Washington to California on I5, so we stopped here for the night. The room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was good. The man who checked us in was very friendly, but not very helpful. Rather than volunteering the information, I had to ask the times and location for breakfast. He also didn’t give us the Wi-Fi password, and it wasn’t on any of the documentation. I called the front desk and got the information, but it didn’t work well and was basically useless (maybe that’s why they don’t make an effort to provide it at check-in!)"

"The room was well laid out and comfortable. There was a Keurig and a microwave on the counter and it had a large sink. There was no ice machine, so a bag was provided at the office. Parking was right outside the door. It was a quiet and pleasant place to stay."

"Loss of one star because pool was closed for maintenance on a weekend and this was the main reason we booked and I think a selling point for this place. A pool with a big slide, definitely caught my eye when looking for a place to stay. We wanted to book a spot for the kids to get out of the car and have something fun to do as a mid way point on a drive from WA to CA. Had we known, would have booked somewhere else with a pool or kept driving a couple of hours. Clean, comfortable beds, nice staff. A little worn down with areas noticable repairs like unpainted areas where spackling was applied. Breakfast was ok/good enough. Better than cheap pastries and OJ but no warm foods other than waffles. Limited fruit to apples. Staff was friendly and tried to recommend other areas in town for swimming or entertainment. Price was about 20% less than the next similar option, which made the pool closure easier to accept. Had it been similar price to other places close by, I would have been really disappointed the pool was closed. Recommend calling in advance to make sure pool is open before booking if that is an amenity you are hoping to get."

"Don’t be startled when you see all the trucks nearby—this is located near a truck dtop. Did not impact the comfort of our room. We had a great stay and were very close to the Redwood National Forest !!"

"When we first checked in at 5pm, we went up to our room with all of our luggage only to find it was in process of being cleaned. We went back to the front desk and were invited to wait for 15 minutes until it was cleaned. They did offer us a complimentary beverage while we waited, but this was an unpleasant start to the stay. After this, though, everything was great. We had fun in the pool, used the exercise equipment, and the breakfast was the best (scrambled eggs and bacon, two kinds of waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice, etc.). I'd definitely stay here again."
