"Hotel is nice and modern. The room was clean. However, the location is in an industrial residential area so there is not much to walk to. There is a Mc Donald's across the street and a public transit station about a block away. The ride into the city center was about 15-20 min and very reasonable. The rooms were nice but my main complaint is that they do not have a true air conditioning system with individual climate control in the rooms. The rooms are cooled a based on an eco friendly concrete ceiling coiling system and it is not through a true hvac system. Our room was incredibly warm since we visited during a heat wave. The hotel provided us a fan but it was barely enough to make our room tolerable as it faced the sun all day. We didn't sleep much as our room was very warm and humid and didn't cool until early morning hours (3-4 am). I would not stay here again due to this. I expected to have air conditioning especially since their marketing speaks to climate controlled sleep experience. I'm booked at another Ruby in another city and I am considering cancelling because I don't want to spend another 4 nights without air conditioning when high temps are upper 80's and low 90's. I'm from Texas. We know heat and we use our AC!"
