I reserved a beachfront room, and the view was spectacular. The pool was very crowded, and there were no available chairs to sit on. They also have some kind of pool spa, but it requires an admission fee—which I thought was included with the hotel stay. (The package included access for two adults, but not for kids.)
The proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants is great. I used the breakfast buffet, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. However, after returning to my room after breakfast, I couldn’t get in. Long story short, they had deactivated my key card for “safety reasons,” which I didn’t understand. I had to wait in the hallway for 10 minutes after calling the front desk twice.
By the way, the hallway has minimal air conditioning, so my two kids and I were sweating while we waited for someone to come unlock our door.
If I visit Busan again next year, I’ll probably stay at a different hotel.
